What alternative can you suggest to use for Ziip? Since their gel is suepr expensive. Ive been checking on that device.

What do you think about Vichy 89 Mineral Fortifying and Plumping Daily Booster? Could it be a good conductivity gel due to its content of 89% water that has 15 types of minerals in composition?... It has also Hyaluronic acid.

HA is produced naturally in the body so there wouldn’t be a reaction to pure HA however not all HA is created alike. The Ordinary is a low grade one I don’t recommend as a Master Aesthetician of 30 years. I always recommend using cosmeceutical grade skin care. Not some thing you can pick up from Ulta or Sephora. There are definitely different levels of skin care. Drugstore being at the bottom, next would be department store which is basically overpriced junk product and then cosmeceutical would be the top of the spectrum. I am 48. You have beautiful skin! I will say there’s a product out of Portland Oregon that you can pick up at whole foods, natural grocers, and sprouts and it’s called Mad Hippie. Definitely has good ingredients and that is the exception as far as not being cosmeceutical. It was originally produced for surfers and it has really clean and pure ingredients. Love to see you do a review on that brand and what you think!

I use a cheap bottle of Aloe Vera Gel from Walmart. It's $3.67 or something. Try it. It works great!

My problem is that aloe doesn't stay smooth for moving a device slowly. It begins to get sticky within a minute. How can I fix that?

Hi, I just discovered your video. I have a similar routine. I use vitamin C in the morning and retinol at night. You mentioned you do your micro current in the middle of the day. Do you wash your face three times a day, the morning, afternoon, and night?

Is glycerin ok in a prepping serum before microcurrent session? I thought you cannot have any oils or silicones on your face for better conductivity? Not sure about Glycerin!

I've heard that Argireline is great to use with a Microcurrent Tool. They say this is Botox in a bottle. Also, what is your opinion about using a Stem Factor Serum with your Microcurrent?

Hi Trina, when you're putting all these good things on your face right before microcurrent, do you leave the majority of the products on after you're done in the middle of the Day? I guess I mean do you just wipe off the extra gel with a dry, or damp towel, just wondering what you found works well. I will definitely check out getting a consultation! Thanks!!!

for many years I’ve used the Tripollar Stop initially I used the gel that comes with it but got too expensive so I checked out the ingredients and top was Glycerin so I bought organic glycerin cheap as chips and I have used it successfully for years, thanks for the tip to use Hyaluronic serum first I have the original Hada Labo great value as a big bottle , I have bought the smart water to spray on my face too I use a Retirides 0.05 once a week too no problem for me thanks for all the info x

Hi Trina! I had no idea that we should stop retin-a two weeks before using the myolift! I haven’t and have not seen an issue. Plus, when would you use the retin-a if you were doing the myolift 2-3x a week? I am confused. Love your videos!!!

7e wellness recommends to not use retin-a at all while you are doing a microcurrent regimen, but as I said in my video, many people do and have no problem. If you’re concerned, you could ask Valentina or a dermatologist to see if there would be any long term negative effects. I don’t use retin-a; I only use over the counter retinol.

Yes i just purchased the myolift mini and i use 0.025% tretinoin cream like every other night so now i am feeling concerned about that! Well i guess I could try and see

I use tretinoin at night and Ziip in the morning after washing my face first of course. I don't know why this would be an issue. You obviously shouldn't put it on right before using a microcurrent device, but after about 12 hours being fully absorbed in the skin i don't think it will do any harm🤷‍♀️

Thank you for making the video! I have the Nuface Mini and wondering if I can just use The Ordinary Hyaluronic acid 2% +B5 as the conductor (instead of the Nuface Hyaluronic gel it comes with)?

The problem with this is that with the Nuface, there is no conductivity indicator, so there’s no way to know that you’re getting conductivity with a different product. This is why I say you should always use their gel. If you want to try that product you could try with the myolift because then you’ll know if you have conductivity because there’s a conductivity bar right on the device

not sure. The best thing to do is go to the brand website and read the contraindications. If they are not listed, reach out to ask the brand.

i wouldn't, but some people do. i would want to use something with skincare benefits that is clean since you are pushing the gel into your skin/pores.

Thank you for your video! I have now the Myolift and the Clareblend but the Clareblend get so sensitive under my eyes I can feel the microcurrent so I get scared and I’m not doing that area because gets really strong, do you think is the device or am I doing something wrong? I’m using the same gel from the device. I never have that problem with the Myolift 😞thanks!!!

I’ve never tried the Clareblend. I would follow your instincts and if it feels off under your eyes, just don’t use it there.

Ive recently had lip fillers a week ago. Will using the myolift in the surrounding areas (cheeks ,marionette lines rest of face ) have any diminishing effects on filler ?

I don’t think it has an effect on fillers, but you can always ask the person that did your filler.

Probably. If you’re concerned, you can use mc in the AM, then retinol in the PM.

Hi Everyone....just a quick question for anyone using the Myolift, have you guys ever burned your skin? My friend tried it for the first time and said she got a small burn on her chin, she used it on her entire face and around her eyes but only got a burn on her chin. To my knowledge a burn seems unlikely but I wanted to check to see if any of you experienced anything similar. Thanks!

not sure. normally you need some sort of mineral or salt content to conduct the current, which is why i like to use the hyaluronic sea serum by osea. I have tested that this serum conducts microcurrent with my myolift mini since it has a conductivity indicator. I am not sure that a stand alone HA serum would conduct, but you could test it with a myolift device. I have a separate RU-vid video all about microcurrent gels and serums if you want to watch that and learn more and read all the comments.

My NuFace FIX says to only use their serum, it's this cloudy dark orange color. I'd imagine any serum geared towards these devices would be good?

I’m not sure. I don’t know if you’ll get conductivity. The only way that I use different serums is a test some with my Myolift device since it has a conductivity indicator and then I can use it with my other devices if I know it gets conduction.
