Planted back in 2010. Decided to skin it after talking to people up in Washington who did the same and their palm trees keep growing strong. Will do updates on this over the years.
Great video and great job, I think the skinned off look on a Trachy is pretty cool, makes it look more tropical. Beautiful palm! It’s grown a ton since 2014, nice and tall!
Thank you, I originally got it from Costco in 2010. It was around 2 feet tall then. I have 9 Windmill Palms in all. Some planted recently others a few years ago. The one in the video is the only one I am skinning. It really does give it that tropical look. Hardly see any in Oregon that have been skinned.
