Loving this series man, its a nice homebuilt but quality vine aha, i was wondering if we could get a bit more info on the fab shops costruction of the doors as im wanting to build a canopy for my 4wd.
Hi mate, found 1 of your videos and couldn't help but go right back to see the start of this rig! Impressive work for real mate! How are you finding the welder now that you've had it for a while? Thinking of getting my hands on one but not much public opinion about it out there. Interested to hear your views on it! Again, congratulations on the build! 😍
Hey mate, yeah the Lincoln is still great. No issues still and handy being a multi process welder. If I was gonna do another big aluminium project again I’d probably buy a dedicated double pulse alloy MIG but only cuz the duty cycle is better so it’s quicker 👍🏼 other than that, the Lincoln is great
Short answer, I didn’t 😂 some of it warped pretty badly. I put some rivets in it as well to hold it in place when welding which helped a little bit. I left like 3mm clearance and it still grew that much from the heat that it touched and pushed up 🤷🏻♂️
