Skinny Puppy "Cleanse Fold & Manipulate" Overview (Mosh Pit and the Pendulum) 

Good review! Back in 87 I played this for my friends while tripping on acid! Scared the shit out of em. They would not let me play SP around them again. To bad! I will listen to this album going to work today. Maybe I'll have an acid flash back!

I like this kid's review...it's so cool and refreshing to see other generations listening to industrial music that I grew up with.👏

[fr] Un vieil ami m'a fait découvrir ce groupe à la fin des années 80, avec 3 morceaux de cet album tout fraichement sorti. Ecoute au casque : "Draining Faces", "The Mourn", et "Epilogue". WOW ! C'était exactement tout ce dont j'avais rêvé sans même oser imaginer que ça puisse exister. J'ai été accro tout de suite. Skinny Puppy est resté mon groupe favori, loin devant tous les autres, et pour des années (au moins jusqu'à la mort de Dwayne, qui, pour moi, avec sa maitrise des synthés et des samplers, avait apporté ses lettres de noblesse au groupe qui avait alors atteint la perfection). 2022, toujours aussi bon à écouter. Skinny Puppy remained my favorite band, far ahead of all the others, and for years (at least until the death of Dwayne, who, for me, with his mastery of synths and samplers, had brought his letters of nobility to the band which had then reached perfection). 2022, still good to listen.

I was 17 when it came out and extreme excited with it. Still got the vinyl. Back in the days it was heavy rotating. I think this album and TOO DARK PARK where their most intense works till this day.

Deep Down Trauma Hounds was one of the first to be used in the torture of muslims at abu graib or how ever you spell it. The band has been after DOD with lawsuits ever since.
