He only played a few games in Lithuania as well. And if you look it up, the Ball's sponsored a tournament for that Lituhanian team to compete in, and they paid that team money... to help that team get out of debt. So, we don't actually know if LiAngelo was there on his own merits. And since there were only a few games (I think most of them exhibition) that he played, we don't know if people were pressured to go a little easy on him or not. So, it's tough to even say "He played in Lithuania and survived," and it's tough to even use that as a positive if he did... because there may have been other college players who -- if given the chance -- could play a handful of games there. But they might not have survived a whole season.... and LiAngelo didn't either. The Ball's best bet is to play a similar game -- help out some other club -- but do so on the condition that LiAngelo gets consistant playing time. And then if he does -- and does decent -- then he'll have survived a pro league in a way that could keep him the pros over there longer. And if he can do that, then maybe someday he could make it back to the NBA. But if that doesn't happen, then he's in trouble, because he missed out on NCAA play by becoming a pro too early. He's just got to play in Europe and really put on a show. And Lonzo could totally do that -- we all know it. So, it wouldn't be asking any more of LiAngelo than to be like his brother -- something which his Dad claims he is. So show us, LiAngelo!
