He had help yes. Every great player needs help. But kawhi put them over the top. And I give kawhi the majority of the blame. But Docs has a record of blowing leads. Kawhi played for pop so if he says the team lacks IQ I'll take his word for it. I think it shows the IQ of toronto and those players over those on the clippers. Toronto had fallen just short every year so they were hungry. They just needed a superstar that they never had. The clippers seem to me as a bunch of overly emotional guys. Montrez, Beverly especially.

Kawhi won a championship before he went to Toronto. He led the Clippers in every stat, points rebounds assists steals blocks win shares but not in turnovers. In Toronto he led in points, steals rebounds, second in assists, third in blocks per but second in total blocks, He came to play but his teammates didn't. The difference is he got tired at an unfortunate time. I was upset but I wasn't mad cos Clippers were all over the place. Only Morris Sr was as consistent as him. No other player aside from Hakeem had led in every category.

@@noitsnot239 apart from those 4 games Lowry led him In assists Siakam Led him in rebounds and on an average they led him on those stats in the playoffs and regular season alike. Sometimes Siakam scored more than him too in the Playoffs. Vanvleet came in clutch too with the finals shooting and keeping Curry from going too crazy. Ibaka and Gasol always guarded the toughest opposition bigman in the paint while scoring 10+. It was a proper team. And your stats are cherry picked. Look at the avg and mean and compare those with these clippers. Kawhi is leading them in all three major stats and carrying them for sure. The Raptors were doing their fair share when they could. So he took over in games and avg 30+. That is what he was brought in to do over DeRozan. I'm not disregarding his play for the Raptors but he didn't carry them like he carries the Clippers. That was a special tough defensive minded team. Still is.

I am not really liking Skip's "whatever" responses. He often prides himself on some level of objectivity, which of course is a stretch since this show is more about sports debate and entertainment and less about indepth journalism - with exception to the social justice discussions which are of serious weight - but the rest is much fun. But still, Shannon is bringing up good points and Skip knows it. He should do his best to address those instead of giving an angry "whatever" response. People tune in for the spirited and good natured debate, and Skip should be smart enough to know this behavior damages his brand.
