The points have to come from somewhere. If you score 50 and lose, you are doing something wrong. He had key turnovers late in the game.

Lord Fest that's true. There were times when they agreed, but it's rare. But, the show can still go on when you both agree because you both make points supporting why you feel the way you do. I think it would make the job harder if you have to come up with a counter argument for something you don't believe. If you say water is wet, it will take me much longer and I'll look ridiculous trying to convince you that it's not when I actually agree with you.

Eth D he ain't the problem but he sure isn't the answer. he's just like k love, k irving, b griffin, etc. empty numbers and limited success. Irving and love won with lebron so they get a break, but they're both non-impactful.

edrash1 no he's not like love. Don't compare AD to a Kevin love or Kyrie. As much as we love Kyrie he's no AD, Kyrie hasn't even scored 25ppg yet in his career, but Kyrie is extremely young for what he's done so that's no hit to him. Love was a statpadder indeed but he wasn't dropping 50 points multiple times like AD.. AD is a true superstar, his numbers wouldn't go down if he played with a better team, they'd go up, scary.

Knicks 4 Life I disagree, AD is more like Love than you think. With greater teammates around him, he would have to fill a niche instead of do it all, which would suggest he simply isn't a cutthroat superstar, just simply a formidable all-star who cant do it by himself, just like K love (T-mac comes to mind, among others)

The Star Well the lack of grammer and punctuation for one. But I understand you're on youtube not writing an essay. But 2 you literally said scoring 50 points while taking the most shots in the game with no defense isnt impressive. Well one I think youll find that almost all the time when you score over 35 you probably took the most shots on your team so there was no reason for you to say that. AD went back to back: nearly 100 points, 30+ rebounds, and ~10 blocks over two games. I'm a Warriors fan myself but I give Davis mad props for his performance, singlehandedly keeping the Pelicans in the game even against my super team. He had nearly as many points as the rest of his team combined, two games in a row.

Davis is with a bad organization that isn't getting better talent around him, and in the fact that he seems to be getting injured despite him getting bigger and stronger over the last couple years. Without help, a player like Davis is never going to be considered an elite player, because being elite still has "wins" attached to it. Talent wise, yes Davis is a beast-but he still can't do it all himself. 6 points out of 3 starters? We couldn't even win in an Adult Rec League with that type of production! Give the kid some slack Skip, and see the whole picture on Davis and the Pelicans organization as a whole!

Anthony Davis right now is in the exact same position that Kevin Garnett was in back in Minnesota, LeBron in the Cavs, Iverson in the 76ers, Jordan before Pippen, even Wilt before Jerry West. He's definitely not overrated because he doesn't win, put pieces around him and you might as well give him the championship.

How is he overrated? He said you allow someone else to make a play if you can't? Who else is going to do anything on that roster, that team minus Davis is bad. He has no one around him. MJ didn't win until he got talent around him and Lebron didn't win until he got a roster around him. You can't do it on your own. Davis is not overrated.

This is a perfect situation to bring up why LeBron is better than Jordan a championships don't matter ... Skip, the reason AD messed up the big moment at the end is prolly bc he TIRED AF after carrying his entire team and dropping 50 pts and grabbing 16 boards the entire game. If he didn't have to carry so much of the load, he would've had energy and mental fortitude to execute the last play
