Apparently he didn't make Stephen A Smith or Shannon Sharpe, because after their departure each of them surpassed Skip. So did he only give them a second chance in the industry or did they really make Skip a household name? Skip has NEVER been successful solo! His podcast numbers are horrible just like his TV ratings.
To Skip's credit he vouched for Sharpe to be his co host on undisputed. Shannon, on his last day on undisputed spoke about Skip taking a chance on him. Skip got to big for his britches and found out the real reason undisputed was a hit, Shannon Sharpe. The only reason I watch it now is Keyshawn Johnson, hopefully he has a future there.
