Skip wasn't being delusional. He has just been a D. Cowboys booster for a very long time. Seen this stuff before. He knows what we all have to accept. It's over. This franchise is in disarray and will be mediocre or below average as long as The Jones' are in charge,and anybody in the NFL knows it. They can keep up with them easily. Skip, I'm 64 and was born in Dallas. Have been watching Cowboys Seasons since 1970. Many up and down Seasons. Tom Landry's and Jerry Jones'. Because after Jimmy's success, it became Jerry's team. Nobody disputes that. It's clear he is incompetent as a football General Manager. Business is his success. He won't go away. When he passes, his son/daughter will take over. So pretty much more of the same. They are embarrassing this city and it's fan base. I know many will say "who cares what you think? You aren't anybody." They're right. I have read your columns in print, for many years in newspaper, before there was an internet. I am basically commenting to you. I am DONE with this rediculous Cowboys (dis)organization. Al Capone honestly yes and no. If this were a few weeks ago I would have said the eagles are gonna crush the cowboys, no and ifs or buts about it. And I’m not even a fan of the eagles. But after blowing a 17-0 lead to the Panthers in the 4th quarter you realize that no matter the fact that these guys are literally the most complete team in the nfc east and have the best qb despite some injuries, they can still choke too. Eagles should be 7-1 or at least 6-2 right now. The talent have way too much talent to be 4-4. So yes IF.

Problems w/ our team, in order of egregiousness. 1. Jason Garrett (Spineless, gutless puppet, not playing to WIN, too conservative, go for it more on 3rd/4th down, we have ZEKE, quit runnin' our great D in the ground to constantly bail out the anemic offense) 2. Jerry Jones (Shows to value friends/loyalty over winning, does way too much vs letting folks do their freakin' job, everytime he makes a real move, it's too little too late, cut the big checks earlier vs just talking about it) 3. Scott Linehan (Lame, basic @$$ play calls, switch it up, add some creativity, bring back more playaction where Dak soars, let him air it out more earlier in the series vs waiting for desperation throws on 3rd and long bc the box stays stacked, open it up a bit) 4. Dak Prescott (Weak @$$ field vision which leads to his poor decisions to force throws that aren't there. Our receivers get limited separation, but they DO frequently get open 'enough' for 'accurately' and deeply thrown balls more than anyone admits. Ck tape. Beas gets open A LOT. Dak either doesn't see him or can't thread the ball beyond 15 yards. I know he trust Beasley; so that's not it. And when he overthrows his guys, esp endzone throws, it's WAY over their heads like he's throwing to Randy Moss type dudes on the field. Rant over.

Dellway Hellway 1) Divisional games are always toss ups. You expect people to believe that Miami was a top tier when they beat the Pats? Of course not. 2) If you even watched the game against the Eagles, that's not necessarily a plus for th Titans. Both teams were abysmal in that game (Philly weren't even playing to their potential). I think the whole NFC East is cheeks this year. Dallas gets ran through...the Skins get pummeled...the Eagles are a shadow of what they once were...no one is stepping up. Another half to go, but so far? NFC East Grade = C-...and that's being generous.

They played Matt Ryan's shell of a Falcons offense and Keenum's fraudulent Vikings in the playoffs to then defeat a horrendous Patriots defense. They won't get as lucky. They don't have the running game they once had, plus the Saints and Rams are LOADED. Big contenders this year.

@@TheAireaidLord just stop it the eagles would have beat any team they played last year in the playoffs they didn't get lucky at all stop making excuses the Vikings had the number 1 defense and the falcons were clicking when they faced the eagles don't forget the week before their defense shut down the Rams who had the number 1 offense in LA and the Patriots are a dynasty enough said the eagles went on that run with a bunch of injuries including their QB who was on pace to win MVP and like I said the eagles have 8 games left to play counting them out is naïve they could enter the playoffs hot and go on another run it has happen time and time again in the history of the NFL it don't matter what the Saints and Rams do in the regular season the playoffs are a different animal

If Matt Ryan and his OC weren't such an idiot, he would've punched the ball into the endzone and won 17-15. Not only that but the knee interception that wasn't allowed philly to score 3 points. If they don't score 3 on that drive, then atlanta kicks a field goal and gets the victory that way 13-12. It really was closer than you think.

Very predictable and obviously didn’t work if your all pro running back was under 60 yards rushing and you lose the game and every sports show the very next day is calling for the head coach and offensive coordinators job!
