Great list! I'd love to get into snorkeling more. Do you know what the people were doing walking in a line at the same dunes?

They were filming a movie! I don’t think it was a big production but they didn’t want us walking in some of the dunes so our footsteps wouldn’t be on them 😅 we should have asked exactly what movie but didn’t.

Hi! We went with The Hook Experiences. They weren’t the cheapest but weren’t the most expensive either. We had a great time and would highly recommend. I have 4 nights, arrive in Cabo. How many days I split between Cabo and la Paz? Is Isla espiritu Santo and play bandara makes it worth it I guess. Is there anything in Cabo you loved?@@AnyoneCanTravel

@goutfromfriedokra In Cabo I feel like the arch and lovers beach are a must see. It’s a shorter tour but still fun. If you’ll be in Cabo on a Thursday I hear the art walk in San Jose del Cabo is fun too. The food was good in Cabo. I loved Taqueria Xitlaly and La Panaderia in San Jose del Cabo. I’d say 1-2 days in Cabo depending if you want a whole day to lay on the beach in Cabo or do other tours/hikes and 2-3 days in La Paz. 😊

Do you recommend I do tours in Cabo or do it yourself? Any great snorkel in Cabo?And should I rent my own car to la Paz , safe enough?it seems like la playa bandora beach and Isla espirto snorkel is the way to go.@@AnyoneCanTravel

@goutfromfriedokra I would do tours for water activities that you can’t do yourself like the Cabo arch, snorkeling, and whale watching (if it’s the right season). We didn’t snorkel in Los Cabos so I can’t really compare, but just from the differences in the water color/clarity I would think La Paz is better. I say rent a car if that fits your budget! Definitely makes it easier to get to balandra and other beaches outside of La Paz. Just make sure your reservation includes third party liability insurance or you’ll be charged more when you arrive.

Thanks! I would say the malecon is a big part of downtown. I did walk over to the cathedral and the art museum and it’s a pretty little square but the natural beauty is really the best part of La Paz. If you have extra time visiting the cathedral is nice but not a must see in my opinion. The ayuntamiemto of La Paz is just a white office building and not anything special like in other Mexico cities like Puebla or Mexico City for example, so we didn’t even visit it. It’s also no where near the “downtown” area. You can google it to see what I mean.

Yes it is! I’m not sure what that has to do with the ayuntamiento not being a building I’d recommend tourists visit though.
