The Seattle Seahawks beat the Philadelphia Eagles 23-17 in a game Seattle dominated for most of the night. The Seahawk's defense sacked Carson Wentz 6 times and held Philly to under 300 yards of total offense. And after all the rumors that we’d be seeing a lot of Jalen Hurts last night, the backup QB only ended up recording 2 official snaps as Philly once again rolled with Wentz. Wentz did have 2 touchdowns, but he also threw a costly interception into the end zone in the 4th quarter. Wentz deserves better? During his career he has had a top three D line and O Line in the league. A top three TE and the best back up TE. A top five running game and a SB winning head coach. What more does he need? Don’t blame it on injuries because all teams have them. Wentz has had more bad years then good ones.

Just remember Carson Wentz went 5-6 in 2018 vs easiest part of schedule Nick Foles took over same team in 2018 and made a nice playoff run and was a dropped catch away from maybe winning a second superbowl with roster that was under 500 with Wentz so as a fact zero playoff wins Wentz is the one and only problem

That’s what injuries will do to ya. I hate the Eagles but will acknowledge their injuries. Cowboys haven’t had their starting tackles all season, starting center retired, Wolf Hunter missed over a 1/3 season, 2&3 CBs missed multiple games, Dak who was on pace to shatter the passing record - snapped ankle. Martin missed a game and is now done for the year. Back up left tackle done for the year. Starting DTs out for the year. Starting TE out for the year.

This is why teams should stop glorifying qbs and think they can win by themselves and give them 30 millions a year. Their success is based on the oline protection, the run game efficiency and the receivers playmaking ability. The fact that a team like the Jets are sacrificing a whole season and thinks Lawrence will save them is laughable too.

The only QB I've ever seen that Truly made a team exponentially better just by him suiting up was Peyton Manning. Manning gets injured and a 13-3 Colts team drops to 2-14. Manning goes to the Broncos and a 7-9 team jumps to 13-3. Manning leaves the Broncos and the 13-3 team hasn't recovered from losing Manning since 2015. P Manning is probably the only Quarterback I have ever seen that was truly worth 100+ million dollar contract. The guy could carry mediocre teams to the playoffs then would lose because those teams were in fact mediocre, but at least he would get them there. 15 straight playoff appearances, 4 Super Bowl appearances with 4 different head coaches and 2 different teams. Manning was so good that Adam Gase still has a job as a Head Coach in the NFL right now.

But skip was right also. Jalen took over for Tua and had back 2 back touchdown drives to seal the SEC championship game for Alabama. By then Georgia had a season's worth of tape on Tua and made him look mediocre before he eventually got injured in the game.

Remember this it the same Skip who said Johnny Football was the best college QB he's ever seen play. He was a winner. A player maker. How did that work out? Hurts watching him play QB in college should have anyone scouting him screaming into the night. He wasn't very good if you actually watched him play. Just the Johnny Football. If you actually watched him play in college you saw failure written all over him. He didn't have the tools to play in the NFL. A run first QB who wasn't fast. Couldn't read even the simplest of defenses which is college football. Average arm and that's being kind. Very questionable character. If this was failure well... Two years later they add mike Tolbert who had a all pro year with them too. Then added kelvin Benjamin and Jonathan Stewart, and Greg Olsen was a pro bowler. 2015 Cam Stewart and Olsen had pro bowl years. Basically the same in 2016. Then 2017 he get Christian Mccaffery and the year after gets DJ Moore who is actually pretty decent. But you’re right he had no weapons! 😂😂

I’m tired of people saying that 2017 team was loaded, it was not loaded, the defense was loaded. The offense had Alshon Jeffery & Nelson Agholor at WR & Boston Scott at RB, yes the O-line & Ertz were there but that’s it. Nobody outside of Ertz had 1000 receiving or 1000 yards rushing

Wentz has been sacked (46x) more times this season than his RB have 50 yard games, Wentz has been more times (100x) than Miles Sanders has carries this season. His WRs have the most drops in the NFL, his 3 RBs have under 1000 yards combined, his WRs can’t get separated, his TEs have been hurt all year & his o-line has been 25 different o-line combos.

I've never felt Hurts was anything more than above-average. If he becomes a super-star I'll eat my words and admit I was wrong, but he got benched in the national championship game, ffs. Had it not been for Lincoln Riley, Jalen would have likely been drafted in the 5th or 6th round.

If you know anything about football, you know Wentz isn't the biggest problem. The Eagles' injuries are a huge problem which is worse because they didn't have a lot of offensive talent to begin with. The coaching is the other big problem.
