Giannis Antetokounmpo has clearly shaken off any rust and doubt following the knee injury he sustained before the NBA Finals. The Milwaukee Bucks' star became the second player in history to generate at least 40 points and snag 10 rebounds in back-to-back Finals outings. The only other player to do so was Shaquille O'Neal. Now, Giannis and Milwaukee are on the heels of the Phoenix Suns heading into Game 4 as they look to tie the series tomorrow night. Someone tell to Skip that Giannis didnt even know what a basket ball was like till he closed his 14th-15th years unlike Jordan, Luka and many other superstars thru the years that had already established themselves by that age as pure talents playing great basketball already in top college/european teams etc. That alone making Giannis stand out even more. Giannis was RAW material that had to start from ZERO, literally ZERO and in few years made it to be a 2 times MVP, AllStar MVP, Defensive player AND be in NBA FINALS while making records left and right for years now. Giannis had no time to play basketball as a kid, he was playing few minutes every other day in the park.. i mean really ? Can you understand what kind of monster Giannis is to achieve that in few years from SCRATCH, literally ? Find me another player in the history of NBA that knew literally nothing about basketball and achieved so much in few years. A single guy. There is none! And you know what is the scary part ? HE HAS ROOM TO GROW HIS SKILLS MORE !

Even though Skip believes he's never wrong (a horrible trait for any human), I have to agree with him here. I'm a BIG Giannis fan (I live in Madison and go to games every year) and still don't trust Giannis in the playoffs. He does stupid things like attempting fadeaways and threes that he almost never hits, often when the pressure is on. And he needs serious psychological help to overcome his free throw shooting issues. He's just not consistent yet in the playoffs. That said, I love virtually everything about Giannis; his story, his family, his leadership, his dedication and commitment, and his commitment to the city of Milwaukee.

Skip and a lot of media members are wary of Giannis because he's not the kind of superstar who is intriguing enough for them to cover. He's a foreigner who is very humble and even his game is primarily predicated on combining his freakish athleticism and size with relentless effort as opposed to flashy crossovers and smooth jump shots. If you hear him talk, he always talks about how other guys like lebron or durant are the best players in the league and I think he genuinely believes that and he doesn't care about surpassing them or being in those convos. He has a very "survival" type of mentality, almost a one track mind of what he needs to focus on, what his advantages are, and what the team game plan is for winning. He cares about those things and having fun playing, he's not trying to prove anything else.

Bottom line is: Giannis is doing it HIS WAY and certain people cannot fathom that. They cannot wrap their heads around his career. They don't know what to make of him. He was nobody until he was 18. He was not a college player, he was not a prodigy. He started playing basketball at age 14, for crying out loud! They don't have a clue what to make of him. PS: Honest to God, I started writing this comment, BEFORE Shannon mentioned Sinatra! Shannon is good, he is an honest man.

@@Injelotor Not really. Pippen did some important stuff defensively, but he only averaged more than 21 ppg in a Finals series, just once. Jordan was 6-0 with less help than just about every Finals winning team in the past 15 years. GOAT

You know people, I just rest my case with some journalists. Whatever Giannis does it's not enough, but when other players have similar success/numbers they idolize them. I feel that some people have a thing against him maybe for publicity reasons (you know making fame as Giannis haters). Fans are more objective than these people. We all live in the age of media and we can see what Giannis does almost at every game having a clear picture of his abilities! The guy will go places and become one of the greatest players to ever play the game. It's almost inevitable.

9.5/10 and that is because he is not trusted as a clutch guy. But i trust him that will do his job by gimme 30/12+rebounds and some great defense all around. So that is pure trust right there when you put such numbers in playoffs all the time.

Skip just takes on the side against the majority: -Hates LeBron -Hates Luka -Hates Giannis He also: -Prefers you take heavily contested jumpers to win games then passing to teammates -Thinks if you aren't completely disrespectful to your opponent and teammates you're not competitive enough and don't have a killer instinct Good gut check to see if you know basketball at all is if you take the side opposite of Skip.

This Giannis slander is out of control. Giannis is the only consistently great offensive and defensive player on the team (even in the playoffs unless teams literally throw 3-4 people at him) and all the media people talk about is if he can do it in the playoffs. If he’s averaging 35/14/5, on elite defense, it’s not if you can trust him. It’s if you can trust his teammates.

Skip wants to push the narrative that KD is the best player in the world so because the Nets lost he was 1 on 5 but when Lebron scored 48 against the warriors in the Finals and JR Smith sabotaged the game dribbling the time out instead of shooting that layup, according to Skip Lebron is weak. The Bucks aren't even close to being the Team that Golden State was. Skip is a TROLL he is not an analyst.

This is why game 4 is so huge without considering it's 2-1 Suns , Either teams do not have the roster to get that zone wall defense going or Giannis has improved just enough to make that zone wall a really bad idea if Giannis still gets 30 points , 10 rebounds with a high FG% then The Bucks should win because others will be basically wide open. I think the problem for teams this post season is that Giannis is willing to not bail out more when he thinks he will be fouled. If I was not my Bucks I would send in 2 guys just to give there body and get chrages called on Giannis , I don't get why team are not doing that since Giannis is not the greatest at avoiding them. I still think The bucks could win down 3-1 and I do still think Suns are favorites even if The Bucks tie the sires , the only thing that will change my thoughts on that last part is what I was saying in the forst part about I need to see who does what and I am crossing my finger Booker is not as good as we thought and you cannot use the busted nose excuse after seeing what happened to Giannis , there is no way his leg is not bothering him and that mentally had to be one of the more scary things for him.

You know exactly what you’re getting with Giannis in the playoffs. Teams used a strategy two years ago to beat him that exposed a hole in his game. They’ve adjusted and start Giannis below the free throw line so teams can’t put 4 guys on him. The dude is 30/14/5 damn near every game
