This is false.. Harden said in a GQ Magazine that Giannis deserved MVP. He was only criticizing the Media for basically switching up Narratives that fits their agenda. Harden said the same thing about Russ in 2017 but you don't see Russ taking shots at Harden. That Narrative is the exact reason ppl don't take the votes in MVPs seriously. Giannis disrespected Harden saying he wants somebody that passes the ball and the strategy that whoever Harden was guarding, they target that person on offense. Actually, the beef started with Harden publicly crying about the MVP race and trying desperately to undercut Giannis. He said the media creates a narrative and runs with it, clearly taking a shot at Giannis and his well-publicized story, trying to imply he was less deserving on basketball grounds (which isn't true). Harden started the veiled shots due to his own fragility.

I get that Harden was scoring at a mad rate, but Giannis had arrived and was dominating in so many facets of the game. He was absolutely deserving, Harden was just salty and aired it publicly. To Giannis' credit, he never lobbied for it and turned his focus to team success while Harden was crying for his own ego & validation.

Giannis is the most physically gifted and mentally tough player in the league, his skills are just good enough to dominate with the body that he is blessed with. There are a lot of guys in the league with much more basketball skill, but don't have the athletecism, toughness or determination that giannis has.

The things that take the most finesse skill are dribbling, shooting, and passing.... and every guard in the league is better than giannis in this way. I love giannis but his game is not predicated on skill but he's so gifted physically and he has mental toughness most dont have, therefore he doesn't need to be as skilled as someone like Harden to dominate.

The Bucks winning the championship has to be the best thing that's happened in basketball in nearly 40yrs because I think next season we're gonna see teams giving their all because now they're gonna wanna be champs. I say this because every NBA champ since 1980 had at least one player on the roster that a reputable amount of players respected as having what it takes to be worthy of a champion (Magic, Dr. J, Bird, Isiah, Jordan, Olajuwon, Duncan & David Robinson, Kobe & Shaq, hard working defensive minded Pistons led by Big Ben and shot calling legendary coach Larry Brown, D-Wade w/Shaq, Boston's Big 3, Kobe, LeBron led Heatles/Cavs/Lakers, and of course the Warriors). Dude I am not saying could not should not win. They barely scraped through because A KD inch of his toe tied them the game and not won it for them and sent them home. Make no mistake. Well done to Giannis and the Bucks. But lets not forget the luck along the way. Everything went his and there way. Even in the finals Suns cp3 was not himself and injured. Which big man did he dominate in the playoffs that was an all star??? Not saying they were not deserved winners. But I agree a bit over hyped. But still well done for winning it and doing it thr hard way. But when you look at the factors surrounding the playoffs and circumstances. A lot of luck and things went there way. So was it really that hard. I mean fit harden and Kyrie they aint winning that series. If they faced AD and Bron would they win that series or Kawhi and Clippers like think about iy bro. He didn’t dominate any big named all stars even in his positions each series. Im a houston fan btw just so you know. Im not biased or anything. I think his a good player under the ring. Without middleton they would not have won the championship. Did he have a great finals series, yes. But he faced a 22 year old Ayton. Capela is not rated as a good player even on defense. Blake Griffin 5 years ago would have been interesting and he didnt face Phily or Bam Bam for the Heat? So again the factors were huge. But well done becausr this was probably his only chance to win a ring. Not saying he cant do it again. I would be suprised if he does. I mean he doesnt have a great skillset in compariosn to other great players but his a work horse and thats what helped in the finals. But I doubt it would have over come the other big teams and there stars.
