The Dallas Mavericks took a 2-0 series lead on the Los Angeles Clippers after a 127-121 victory at Staples. Dallas had another great shooting night in which they shot 18-of-34 from 3-point range, and Baby Bird himself Luka Doncic led the way with a team-high 39 points. But despite 41 Points for Kawhi Leonard and 28 for Paul George, the Clippers just couldn’t make stops when it mattered down the stretch. LA has now lost 5 straight playoff games dating back to their collapse in the Orlando bubble last year. That “Luka on the fourth quarter argument” is the stupidest thing I have ever heard in my life. If a player can average 31 ppg in only 3 quarters he can go on a vacation when the fourth quarter starts 🏝

Exactly....the Fact is that in the Fourth Clippers throw everything on Luka, leaving One or Two Mavs open- that's the Moment when smart Player stop shooting over-forced-shots, and shift to assisting open Guys, exactly what Luka did. Sometimes he didn't even touch the Ball in some Actions, or just touched it and instantly distributed it further. And that sealed the both Wins, I would dare to say. If Luka continued to chase the Numbers, that would probably cost Mavs at least One Defeat so far. Skip simply has no Arguments, he is in trouble.

Why would anyone shoot from that far away when it counts as a 2? Bird took less than 2 3pt shots per game for his entire career. Nobody was taking 3s back then like they do today. Bird attempted 1700 3s in his career. Steph Curry did that in 2 seasons.

PG's best playoff run's were in Indiana he went to the ECF two years in a row and took Lebron and the Heat to 7 games in 2012-2013. Pacers drafted Kawhi in 2011 then traded him to the Spurs so it could've been PG and Kawhi 10 years ago.
