Same y’all my mom could straight watch us vomiting in the bathroom with an 100 fever and she’d be like, “But you can walk and talk can’t you? Then ain’t no damn reason you can’t take notes and sit in class. I’ll see you 3:30 to 4pm” 💀 The school hated her so bad and would throw her so many dirty looks. My mom could care less 😂

The youngest child one is so true. If I have a coughing fit my parents will ignore it but if my younger sis coughs like once or twice there like “are you ok in there honey, do you need some medicine!”
I have two children and it absolutely baffles me why I don't have much compassion for the oldest and I have this primal instinct to protect the youngest AT ALL COSTS!

As the oldest kid, my mom always trusted me to know when I was sick and let me stay home whenever I asked - with three younger to babysit and the family laundry to catch up on. It took me twice to figure out I'd rather feel crappy at school.

Haha this happened to me a lot as the oldest 😅 I told my mom I was sick she said "oh you only have a slight fever,you're fine go to school" I remembered thinking "okay maybe she's right I'll be fine "then my last class came I felt like a truck hit me and one of my friends touched me and said I felt like a hot tea pot 🙃 Long story short ,I went home and then my mom felt bad for sending me to school with a 104 fever

My mom literally did this TODAY. The difference being that, I'm the middle child, i was ACTUALLY sick, and i was the ONLY ONE to be forced to go to school.
This accurate even tho I’m Asian😅 I’m the youngest and only girl and my mom would pull me out of school or let me stay home all the time just so we could go shopping and have a mom daughter day
My mom was the opposite of I felt sick she would still make me go to school and if something happened that made me have to go home she would pick me up early and sometimes I threw up at school and it wasn’t fun
