Hastily moving out from your home after initiating a divorce may result in abandonment allegations that could affect your legal standing. 👩⚖️🏡 #brighterdaylaw #divorce #marriage #divorced #separation #lawyer #divorceattorney #fyp
Well I was kicked out by my wife pretty unceremoniously. She basically threatened that if I didn’t piss off immediately she’d scream at and hit me in front of our two-year old and then threw a hint in there that if I dared to call the police, she’d just tell them I was hitting her (which I obviously wasn’t) and get me driven off in a police car. So I was forced out and suddenly in a very disadvantaged position in the divorce, especially with regards to custody.
This is so stupid. You literally cannot even apply for a divorce if you still live together. Thus, someone has to move out. That doesn't mean they shouldn't have custody.
well, if he still spent time with the kids, then sure. but if he leaves and doesnt even make an effort (and you need some sort of paper/ email/text trail for that as well to show to courts if exwife is crazy) then he deserves none of it. dont have kids if you dont want them and dont marry someone if you arent sure. its as simple as that
how? if all he cares about is his assets and not at all about the kids, he genuinely deserves none of it. dont have kids if you dont want them, cause then it will fuck you over. care about your goddamn kids and have proof to show. if you are actually making an effort and your ex wife is batshit, then start some sort of paper trail. have emails, texts, pictures, whatever to prove that you still want to see your kids. if not, its the kids home now. and it is horrible to fuck up your kids lives just because your marriage didnt work out, so whoever has the kids should be entitled to more money.
