Skoda Kamiq: A thoroughly likeable SUV 

I watched this video, prior to choosing my next car. It is the most comprehensive video on RU-vid, and that includes all cars, and was extremely useful. After due consideration, in Feb 2023 I placed an order for a 1.5 SEL EXECUTIVE DSG. Admittedly, it took some time to arrive, but taking into account the current mess the world is in, I was not unduly surprised. Prior to this purchase, I had a BMW 320D Touring, a very nice car, with excellent handling, but high overall running costs. The Kamiq has proved to be an ideal replacement, in that it provides almost the same benefits, but at much lower purchase/running costs. It’s very nice to drive, has all the bells and whistles, we have come to expect, and suits my requirements. In short one could say ““It’s something that fits perfectly in every situation”😉

What is the name of this particular paint?

Manual handbrake is a no. Far too much, like VW, expected features are extra. By the time you add in things like rear cross traffic alert you are up the price of the competition. Where is the front parking sensors & reversing camera. No self charging engine option.

I’ve had mine for 3 years. It’s a decent car - pretty good performance from the 1.5 DSG combination. Not as “clever” as the Yeti in its use of space. The big weakness are the uncomfortable seats. Nowhere near as good as the rest of the ŠKODA range
