Škoda Skoda Karoq can be equipped with Park Assist system. Once the sensors find a space large enough (i.e. length of the car + 80 cm), the system lends a hand with the parking manoeuvres. The driver just has to accelerate and brake.
My wife was always a bit scared to drive this car in town due to it's size when parking, after teaching her the system she is now much more confident and likes to drive it!
The Park Assist feature is great - providing it identifies a bona-fide parking space. Unfortunately the algorithm that locates an available space is a bit iffy, and you have to watch like a hawk because on at least two occasions mine has tried to reverse into a bay that was already occupied! That said, when it does work the steering is spot-on. It's an absolute scream, and you do get some really funny looks on supermarket car-parks.

1001cars, parallel parking is something I excel at, I can fit into much smaller gaps than that. A car driven with a competent driver will always be faster than these auto park systems. Your videos are really good by the way. I've seen a few of them now, always impressed with the quality.
I agree the parallel had too many useless adjustments when he was already in , I can park in that spot with 90 cm longer than the car as the creator said in 2 moves , the entry one and then the adjustment and it's done , sure having this feature might be useful for a lot of girls or even men that are not confortable ebougt . I wonder if this system considers the height of the sidewalk tho don't wanna ruin those rims . The backward parking was just fine I might not be that precise in one go like the computer did .

Generally I don't agree with your statement, but I understand your opinion. Here in Germany drive a lot of senior people and these assist systems are really helpful to them.
