Skoda Octavia Review

Very nice European car !!! I love it!

Skoda knows what the public want and that makes them so succesfull. I almost start to believe skoda sells more cars then VW :) . Normal Sedans for a good payable price and normal costs in roadtax insurance and petrol. Thats what the public wants!! Keep up the good work Skoda!!

I want one now! One question though, does it ride better than a mk5 jetta? I've heard the jetta is a bit firmer than the Octavia on rough roads.

Is Skoda more like VW as a company? Are they mostly luxury cars? Sports cars? Economy cars?

Ok that explains it :). In Europe it's very popular, so here, not knowing Skoda is like not knowing Volkswagen.

They didn't even fold the bench seats forward to make it 'flat'.

It looks like a sedan and thats what counts!! (remove the backwiper luckily skoda also sells them without the backwiper)

Or I live in the US where Skoda as a brand isn't sold. Whichever is more likely. :)

Skoda is actually part of the VW group, and they have approximately the same target buyers as VW, only the cars are cheaper (for similar performances). They don;t really for for the luxury class though.
