Hey everyone, in this video, I'll be comparing two popular platforms, Skool and Beacon.ai, and sharing why I ultimately chose Beacon.ai.
Beacon.ai: Beacon is a comprehensive platform that helps content creators and businesses monetize their online presence. It offers features such as paywalls, subscriptions, and exclusive content delivery. Beacon.ai also provides a customizable link in bio feature, allowing users to showcase multiple links in their social media profiles. The platform's pricing structure allows for flexibility in pricing different products at varying price points. Additionally, Beacon.ai offers analytics and insights to help users track and optimize their monetization strategies.
Skool: Skool is a platform designed to help creators monetize their content through online courses, memberships, and digital products. It offers tools for course creation, student engagement, and payment processing. Skool's community features include discussion forums and group chats to facilitate interaction among students. However, Skool does not provide a customizable link in bio feature like Beacon.ai. The platform's pricing structure is based on a monthly subscription model, with different tiers offering varying levels of access and features.
Firstly, pricing was a key factor for me. Beacon.ai allows me to price different products at different price points, which Skool does not offer.
Secondly, I needed a stunning link in bio feature, which Beacon.ai provides, while Skool lacks this functionality.
Additionally, I found Skool's community features to be quite basic in comparison. I prefer something more robust like Circle for community building.
In my opinion, Skool has been hyped up, but when it comes down to features and functionality, Beacon.ai is the better choice for me.
I'll be selecting Beacon.ai for my needs, and if I require a community feature, I'll likely use a solution such as Circle. I'll be encouraging all my subscribers to join our community and app there.
