Agreed and I really don't get it. Whenever they play dubstep and the club I kind of just stand there like..I'm not about to do just jump up and down in these heels right now, you can all kiss my ass lmao.
The Economist recently reported that, according to National Geographic's Green Guide, "a typical stadium concert releases 500 to 1000 tons of carbon dioxide, which is between 25 and 50 times more than the average American produces in a year. That number does not even take into account fans' transport, the immense amount of garbage produced or any fire-spewing Kiss-style pyrotechnic displays... fans' commutes can quintuple the carbon cost of a show."
U the type that would listen to and memorize every edm song but when you go to a rave you would just stand there and head bob. You need to know that events save the best dj's for last so by now the crowd's starting to feel tired. Sure there's gonna be half of the crowd still going hard but the other half is not gonna start going hard at the drop unless the dj has some good mic skills.
I’ll never knock his wave cuz when he peeked, at one point even Deadhead/ Hippy festivals had dj’s playin his shit and that was a time when a lot of festivals HATED Dubstep and all of us who came with it. They would put the Basshead stages and dj’s all the fuckin way away from the main stages and festival but fast forward to now, you can’t even find a festival that doesn’t play or have some kind of dubstep influence and no matter who hates it, skrillex played a major major role in crossing it over into mainstream bringing our genre to the world 💙🙌✊🏽💯
