In this video we remake the sounds from Skrillex’s track RATATA with missy elliot. Skrillex sampled a mr oizo track for the main lead synth and the sample flip he did is epic!
Great tutorial :) the only thing you missed is the slight amount of panning that the lead has, but that 's just a small detail that not everyone might notice
and here I was expecting the revelation that Skrillex worked on the OST for Ratatan and you we're going to do a breakdown of that, but in the end it was just a typo. Solid short tho.
When do I say anything about synthesis in the video? I clearly stated it’s a sample. Like bruh what are you on? The video almost starts out with me showing the original synth sound from Mr Oizos track.
@@8racs skrillex flipped the sample for his track. Mr oizo used the MS20. And when mr Oizo made Positif, he used the hardware version of the ms20 not the plug-in version. He said so in a 2014 interview with xlr8r.com My video is about how skrillex made ratata not how the original oizo song was made
I’m struggling to understand why you would sample the part of the song that has drums in it when there’s a whole section of the track where it’s just the lead
