Bro back from the future the compress Archive of Logic tip was GOLD ❤️/ It broke the old drummer for me personally i like the new drummer less 😅I but the stem splitter is awesome now i have 10 and 11
OK, very helpful and thank you for that. I'll test it all out soon. but I don't understand why you do G3 and then tune it down to -36. That doesn't make sense to me. Thanks anyway
My prediction, logic 14, instead of fixing the browser and plugin search, they’ve added an “ai” compressor, eq, guitar, horns, vocals and “ai” mixing and mastering. Oh, and don’t forget “ai” song creation, where you click on a drop down menu to select from a preset list of moods. They’ve also added the ability to import a movie from RU-vid and extract the audio, and the ability to auto-name tracks. Still no drag and drop though. Am I very far off? 🎹♥️
Having to buy a new computer in order to upgrade logic caused me to turn to pc once…once. Probably won’t ever do that again. I hardly use logic now since I started using studio one. It has lost its position as my go to daw. I don’t see this update changing that. We all have different wants/needs. Mine are more about convenience, mini time-savers, shortcuts, drag and drop, working with loops and samples, things like that. I’m not gonna throw a midi fit over what logic did or didn’t add. May be useful for some. My music creation wouldn’t involve stem splitting, atmos, or their “ai” stuff in the least. I’m about to start using cubase 13 pro so I don’t see myself going back to logic any time soon. I won’t wait for apple to add the features I want/need, instead I’ll just use a daw that does. Mac studio will be my next big purchase, but it won’t be because of logic, that shiny new toy is for my real friends, cubase and s1. When/If apple ever adds things I want/need, only then will I add logic to my new mac. Meanwhile, cheers to not holding my breath. Using logic has put quite a bit of money in my pocket and I’m grateful to have used it for a season. That’s all from me. Thanks for listening/reading. 🎹♥️
thank you so much! very helpful. you are right 100 times. main synth from prophet, flute and minimoog as lead, 1 sub and 1 more bass . your reacreation is top level
Hi, I have a problem with the new version 11,I have record a video here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-u5MnIxjCsHk.html, any one know how to fixed? thank you!
Bro i followed all the teps and even the guys comment about the left out steps but still it doesnt sound the way yours does at the end? Im convinced you just dubbed the actual M1 patch over the video 😂
Hey! Are you on pc? If so there may be an issue with your one drive. Open the plug-in and go to the settings page. There will be a button that will open the samples location. Once that location is open close your daw. Delete the link file. Re open daw and the plug-in.
@@EchoSoundWorks thank you so much for your help. I don't understand what I have to do precisely. When I open the plug in in the daw it asks me to show him where the folder is. There is no folder with sample, just a .dll file. If a tutorial or a post on this issue, let me know.
Shane’s beautiful face… from my childhood to my young adulthood… a little chubbier, but has not aged a day. Jeez, we also went from Pro X to just Pro. Shocker is that pitch shifting and inter plug-in MIDI routing is still so bad.
Being in apples shoes must suck tbh. Release an update for us pro longterm users who would welcome "boring" things like better plugin search, midi preview, scale lock, being able to see the grid lines behind audio for chopping and aligning etc, or do what this update does, shiny new toys for newer users. Seeing as how updates have been free for about 8 years now Apple has to use these updates to get new customers and younger producers in the pipeline at the risk of alienating older users who could find these features in other daws. I don't envy that position.
@@EchoSoundWorks Maybe they should offer a paid Logic Pro upgrade with all the useful boring stuff? Or just make Garage band an AI paradise and use that to sell more iPads / MacBooks. Tbh I would have taken a new transport bar graphic or just something to break the monotony!
Do you have the stem splitter option? Check your plugin validation see if it’s in that list. Sometimes restarting your computer could help force logic to rescan
Make sure you're not running Logic in Rosetta mode. (Right click the Logic application in Finder, open the menu for it and see if the Rosetta option is enabled.)
