thanks for posting the helpful video. you can use the little pointy tool in the cleaning kit like a punch to knock the retaining pin out of the bolt housing, also take a small block of wood and drill a hole in it and you can lay the bolt housing on it and use that instead of a vice to remove and install the pin...might save you a trip out to the garage or help someone who doesn't have a vice or punches on hand. just some tips I came across somewhere while watching other vids.
Hey great advice on the punch for the bolt I hadn't thought about that. I think the SKS design is far better than people give it credit for. The SKS is easy to break down and clean, is a reliable semi auto, in a cheap but effective caliber. For what's available in Canada I think it's a great rifle.
