2 years has passed but this trash talk is still fun to watch. Most of them were no longer in respective teams. Only Smeb and Score remains in KT, so did Faker in SKT. *Update* Looks like Deft's back to KT now. Both Faker and Deft will lead their respective teams as most of the folks on this video already retired.

The games were still pretty interesting, although I think that most people knew that in the end SKT would come out on top. High quality competitive gameplay at the top of the world rankings, who doesn't like that? Win or lose on either side, it's still enjoyable ^^

It's the difference in culture. This kind of trash talk is so outrageous that everybody knows it is done just for the cameras, and is considered funny from the cringe. However, in NA and EU these kinds of things might actually be taken to be serious. Just look at the trash talk from pro athletes (MJ, Ali, Mayweather, etc.) This kind of stuff wouldn't fly in the West.
TSM and P1 did exactly that for some promo spot. The SKT/KT one was done in a good nature'd, sarcastic, tongue in cheek kind of way. They probably had someone else write half the trash talk for them, just like the TSM/P1 one, it's just harder for us non-korean speakers to gauge the tone and intent behind the words compared to when it's in English. .
Loon I'm a korean myself and I speak both English and Korean fluently. To me, this trash talk was much more savage to me than some ones w/ all kinds of shit words. LCK has *ALOT* trust me ALOT of inside jokes/jinx that you probably won't understand unless you know the language itself. Even the translation here couldn't translate everything exactly, as it wouldn't mean anything when translatrd in english.
This was like Cleveland Vs Golden State. Peanut jumped to the team that beat him (Just like Durant) Just for a chip, and Score (In This case Lebron) stayed with his team, but wanted more pieces around him as a response to the new SKT xD
Except Faker is Lebron, in which case SKT is a super mega combination of Golden State and Cleveland (which makes this totally unfair, and why im rooting for them to lose)
Faker is MJ (also stated by Riot's VP), don't compare LeBron's record to Faker's. Faker has been far more dominant than even LeBron at the highest level of competition.
