Soon as you pick up the treasure map can you go pick up the treasure without pvping? Like if no players go after you? And if you pick up the treasure map and soon as you land on the treasure can players anymore attack you?

trouble is I'm gonna want my ship to look like the sailing version of an aston martin. I guarantee that will mean a lower defence (unless there will be skins) cos that other ship seems to have anti boarding spikes, makin it look like a floating hedgehog. I would be more excited if I hadn't seen the rediculous footage of rapid fire cannons. This game is not even a shell of its former self we saw announced in 2013.its a pale transparent imitation.

Not sure about the longevity of this game. I've watched a few PVP fights and it seems to all be the same. Doesn't seem to have the strategy of getting the other ship out of position and nailing them with a broadside. Semi-interested but will wait and see.

If they make it where the side can use deferent woods to have more HP or thickness then it would breed an environment where stuff like "stern rakes" would become meta and I love that idea

Just had two trashlords in a team fight me for the legendary map and I lost barely. I had them both fucked up. The game should balance groups to solos like it does in pve. Dumb I died only cuz I was out numbered. If it made the solo stronger like it does ai when you’re in a group it would be nice

I prefer SoT's combat, but this game shits on SoT in terms of progression and stuff to do it seems like. Also, I have complicated feelings about opting into pvp; I hope they have servers that dont require it and I hope they arent devoid of life, but I know they will be.

Notice all the voices dying and firing cannons were men, and all the voices apart from the captain issuing instructions.....women. Historically women were few and far between as pirates.....you know because of r4pe.
