Skull Mountain at Six Flags America - Tribute POV 

This actually looks kinda lit. I'm kinda sad they didn't just put Apocalypse somewhere else now.

FWIW . . . I like Apocalypse, but Skull Mountain was a unique ride (but I think it was a pain in the ass to maintain).

I got stuck on this ride wayyyy back in the day.

I’m sad I’ve never gotten to ride this ride. SF America was my home park only for a very brief but in 2017-18. Apocalypse was a pretty bad stand up that was a borrowed ride from another 6 flags anyway. I haven’t ridden it since they made it a floorless coaster. But there is only so many times you can polish up a turd. This ride seemed like one of the most themed/ detailed ride I’ve ever seen at any six flags. Yes it’s just an d flume ride but I’d take that over a bad 2nd hand stand up. Skull mountain I never knew yee. 🎢🎢🎢Ride on Ride on ride on

Instead of Skull Mountain, they should have called it Pirates of the Caribbean: Tides of Fortune

I went here as a kid back when it was "Wild World" and "Adventure world" the park is a little different now a days. I remember when this ride first opened, it was pretty awesome.

Skull mountain was replaced by a rollercoaster in which you stand up called apocalypse. I never got to ride skull mountain but she should've kept it cause apocalypse gives you headache and it's boring af anyway. Anyways, there is a ride just like this except without the storyline music and story pathway. It just goes up turns and goes down. It' doesn't seem as fun as this and I'm pretty sure it's not. But still looks hard af to maintain.

This skull mountain is wat better than the skull mountain coaster ride in SF NJ

I really miss this ride it was hilarious that they used the pirates of the Caribbean music somehow without getting a copyright strike! :P I wish they'd remake it like they remade spelunker

Looks like some of the best drops on any water ride I have ever seen. It was closed when we were at the park 20 years back in 2001 but the entire structure was still in tact then, so I don't know if it opened again. What a shame.. i can clearly even see airtime on the first hump. I wonder who built this?

This Skull Mountain is way better than crappy version at Six Flags Great Adventure in NJ.
