I'm confused how these people skulled. It seemed pretty clear that the person wasn't attacking them then they just randomly decide to turn around and skull up

Yeah I’ve been suspiciously close to killing people in the wilderness before and then they freeze me and stand underneath me which is the obvious clue that it’s time to log cause they are skull tricking
For those thinking how they are skull tricking, they are pretending to be bad and "hit their friend" with a aoe attack, hoping the target attacks the friend who is low hp without thinking if they attacked them first beforehand, just spur of the moment.
They're swapping out between "Rashford" and "Reshford" as well. Rashford has already attacked them, so they wouldn't skull if they fought back, then Reshford switches in and pretends to get hit by the aoe, and since the victim thinks they've already been attacked by that player they try to finish him off and get skulled for attacking someone that hasn't actually attacked them.
The first kill starting at 0:30 I was able to recognize the guy as an old friend I use to pk with in RS2. I completely forgot about him up until now (haven't played since 2012) and it's hilarious seeing him still dying in the wild like he was always known for in our clan.
can someone explain how he tricked? he didnt trick anyone. the victim just chooses to fight others that happends to give him a skull but it aint like he didnt know

Keith Kuhn two different people, look at the chat log. One named “rashfords” one named “reshfords”. They don’t show it, but this skull trick involves after attacking the victim running off screen and a new person with a similar name and same gear coming in to make the victim think it’s the one that attacked them before
Normally I love every video you put out, but this one not so much. I get that it's for entertainment and anyone that chooses to take items into deep wild takes this risk, but it really sucks that this is such a common thing now days. We want more players to join the community and scummy tactics like this (and others) jeopardize that. This is all not to mention that many players (myself included) can't play the game enough to make large quantities of money, and losing items like that can really set you back. Just my opinion...At the end of the day, these people are taking items that they SHOULD know they can potentially lose and I still love your videos.

Its sad to see that skull mechanic is exploited like this... Totally goes against its original design. Instead of guaranteeing that you keep 3 items if someone attacked you first and you are just defending, it leads to losing all items when someone else attack you first if you fight back... So basically you just have to run away/die without fighting if you have any valuable items, since you can't rely on 3 item protection at all.

I think it's better if just two people kill them, sometimes people dont realise the skull if they truly fell for the trick, but if they see that 3rd person with same shit they know they got bamboozled and will def. Prot item if they didn't before

I think skull tricking is the lowest of the low in terms of Pking, but the wilderness is a lawless wasteland and it's not that hard to turn off player attack options.

You kill them far too fast. You're not meant to try and kill them as soon as they skull. Try to smite them without instantly going for a dds k0. You'll get far more smites.

I have had my attack player option off since 2015(?) after losing my hasta to skull trickers while gettings keys. Back then I was so pissed off at them... Then you realize you're actually pissed at your own negligence. DON'T BE STUPID turn off your attack, you aren't gonna win a pvp fight anyway you pvm nerd.
I always fight back lol. Just pay attention and use your brain. Really hard to get skull tricked that way. Besides, when I fight back they usually dip anyway or panic and die.
