Totally exceeded my expectations. The tile built in is mind boggling. Samsung and other brands have tracking features built in as well but for A LOT more money. It’s easy to nitpick about other features but how can you with these? Excellent headphones phones!
i got these last christmas and the sound quality is good for the price, but the truly outstanding quality is the durability. i’ve put both earbuds (not case) through the wash at least 3 times (accidentally), because i always tuck the individual earbuds in my pockets. they still work the exact same as they did originally.
@@lemonsweet.1722 I have put them on full volume and other people can't hear it unless they are really listening right next to you in a silent room. They are still loud in your ears though, and have great sound quality.
These things are built like tanks, I had my case and my right earbud dipped in a bucket of water in a pair of paints for over an hour, Case sadly didn't survive but the right earbud pushed right through and still works.
I bought these tonight at Target for $20 when i found out my Jib Trues were dead before going to the gym. these dimes came through! and i was surprised at the sound quality as well and for $20? can't beat it
THANK YOU for actually mentioning metal for those of us who listen to it. Every God damn reviewer that does earbuds puts on some easy listening pop rock or hip hop and doesn't even acknowledge metal or rock exists.
I think reviewers fail to mention metal because it's not a very useful benchmark. Easy listening garbage is about to have greater dynamics and range of frequencies, as well as providing each frequency more space on the mix. Depending on your setup, you may or may not be able to hear a folk musician's fingers as they move across the surface of the strings, which is a measure of audio reproduction quality. Metal is a wall of sound. It's gonna sound distorted on the best audiophile gear on earth because the original artist maxed out his gain before recording. You won't hear their shirt brush against the mic stand or the resonant harmonics of the bass vibrating the body of the guitar... it is impossible to increase the quality to hear things that arent present in the original recording. It doesn't matter what you playback the DooM 2016 theme on... it's literally a recording of a chainsaw. You may subjectively find more pleasure in it if you get a bigger subwoofer but there is no speaker of high enough quality that it can bring out the subtle resonant frequency of a two-stroke engine... that's just silly. I understand that you are shopping with a very specific application in mind but most people don't have the same application, statistically speaking. Most people aren't here to find out "is it fun to listen to my favorite song with these?"... most people want to know "does it accurately and clearly reproduce sounds?"... because that's how you find out if the earbuds are good as opposed to finding out if they are good for listening to 1 very specific frequency.
I still have the Original dimes and use them more often than my beats and galaxy buds. These sound great and are very durable. I may load up on some dime 2's around black Friday to give as gifts.
Update. I eventually bought the dime 2 and 3. The 3s are a disappointment, the ones and twos have better bass and balanced sound profile. My favorite of the three are the dime 2s.
@@TonyRome402coming from 1st gen AirPods…I love them (Dime 2) and the from factor is just perfect for me. Even my son really likes them…so a decent set of 2 earbuds for $50. I really cannot complain.
I have been using the original buds and opening in the case is not really a problem I haven’t seen much dust going inside , the sound quality is amazing for me, base is awesome, hard physical buttons are only problem for me. They are so portable You would love them having around
I kinda like the physical buttons, because there is no way to accidentally press them, but they can be a little hard to press at times, especially if double or triple tapping them
Great video. I had been on the fence to add these to my bag rotation. I may grab them along with my sesh evo replacement. They can join the soundcore neo and skullcandy spoke
Picked up some of these at Walmart earlier today for sure enough $30, and I’m kinda blown away. Sure the case it comes in is plastic, but it feels plenty durable for a plastic case. They turn on once you take ‘em out and they sounds pretty damn good! I’d argue better than Raycons, the sound is more balance while retaining good bass and mid range where as raycons are like all bass and nothing else and bloated sounding. Not too much to complain about for me! Only cons I’d say is the seams aren’t super clean on the earbud, a sharp edge was on the left side bud for me, but I borrowed a nail file and fixed it quick. Highly recommend.
I didnt know you could locate them. I bought a pair from target not knowing anything about them and im pretty impressed. I kept thinking they were dead until i realized the case charges them too 😂
I just bought them, only the left one works but seeing everyone talk about battery, that's probably why, it doesn't have enough juice to charge both and does one over the other.
I just picked a pair of these up in blue from Target today. They are working fine. Sound isn't bad. My complaint is, why everytime I buy BT phones or IEMs do they not have much power or volume even at max., from my iPHone14? I just got the phone six months ago at most. Do I need to buy a BT amp for these? Or is the power just totally limited from my iPhone no matter what? It's not like the phones have a good robust headphone amp built in, sadly. It kind of pisses me off since I'd love to go wireless more often, but my wired audiophile rig here with a great amp or two, sounds 10000x better and louder of course. I guess for the gym or walking around these are fine, biking, etc. But they really need to be a bit louder.
It's wild how good these sound for the price, I owned the dime 1's a few years ago. I picked these up because I lost my galaxy bud 2's and these sound fantastic
A lot of videos talk about mainstream music, hip hop, pop, rock, metal, and classical, but what about softer type, indie, peaceful, or acoustic guitar music?
I appreciate the comment about it not being the best for metal because that is the one thing I'm looking for haha. Any idea what budget pair would sound the best?
I'm wondering how these will fit under a motorcycle helmet. Will my helmet keep triggering the skip or repeat? Can I configure them so the headphone button doesn't do anything?
We complain so much about sound, some are bass heavy some are balance. My Question is, " Aren't we able to tweak n adjust the sound from our mobiles , music apps and Pc equalizers ?"
12 hour battery life, micro USB charging.. c'mon guys this isn't 2018. They did not make something that competes. Another wiff from them. Their development team must be using Internet Explorer.
*_What a shock!_* I found that mine was configured *telephone quality **_16KHz!_* I've been using PC since late 1980s and have never before seen such a thing. Can haz fix? /bdt
Any place I can get decent instructions? This is as vague as the written ones they come with. Also, hard to fit in the ears. Fit better upside down and in the opposite ears.
is anyone having a problem with losing the sound?? I go out running and it has happened to me almost every time it's getting to the point that i have to keep my iphone 13 pro in my hand to not let the music cut out any help would be helpful ?????
