As an old salty fisherman, at my age I watch someone fish and nearly get skunked in weather I would have sat in and enjoyed getting skunked 30 years ago. Now a days I'll enjoy a bourbon and wait for better weather. Thanks for taking one for the team. Worst day of fishing is better than your best day at work.
Those are some tough fishing conditions. I've never used that type of bait before. Seems like you use it quite often. Must work well. Glad you still landed a fish to avoid the skunk. Yeah mice tails are very effective in most lakes. When the water is shallow and the fish are out far that's when I like to use them the most. When the water is deep in close like to switch it up to jig or spoon.
They're quite a bit.... It's fishing really well. The red house area can be hit and miss. There are some pretty big fish in that area this time of year. Not a whole lot of quantity but the size of the fish can get up there pretty big
