Work has been underway for several months on the new Four Seasons hotel and other projects as part of the Shipyards development near the football stadium in downtown Jacksonville.
Sounds good. Any plans for a new parking garage development in the vicinity? Lot J can double as parking for these locations, however, there'll be a major conflict when there's a football game, stadium event, or Daily's Place event that's occurring simultaneously. Also, on i.e. game days, I hope their will be a parking attendant or some form of preventative measure out at the street to stop football guests from parking in these small dedicated museum lots. Unless those places are going to be closed to the general public on those days, temporarily allocating the parking spaces for football, considering the roads are already going to be blocked off by JSO with special traffic patterns?
Is there any news of the skyway extending down the riverfront onto the sports complex? Is there any plans to make downtown more walkable and livable for pedestrians?
