being female, I don't want to go into towns because of the riots, too much violence. i was caught up accidently in the Peckham riots and men were setting fire to cars and even the lingerie shop and people looting. I don't feel safe supermarket shopping in towns at the moment. I live in the countryside in Uk so feel safer where i am. Online shopping do it if you can. I may use my local village shop, as riots can happen at any time in towns. I have enough dry food and other food stocked up for a while the violence fizzles out which it will do now the courts are working extra hours and tougher policing. I think keeping out of the riots is a good thing. my own experience is that if men are torching homes in a riot, stay out of the home because if they set alight the house, have money in your account so you can stay somewhere else, you can't get out. get away in to the side streets and keep away/hide, when there is fire, you can have do things differently. you need space to get out ie lots of exits. wear grey clothes so you can sneak away if you can. help vulnerable people too, they will be staying at home too and feeling unsafe to go out
some of the rioters are destroying community centres, libraries so it is challenging to find a safe place in a riot. buildings and shops close if there is a riot.
That 85K protection only applies per financial institution so be careful you may think you have split up your money over different accounts, but if the parent company for those different accounts come under the same umbrella then you will only have 85K protection for all of those accounts. So with mergers and acquisitions you should check that you aren’t in that situation.
I think this violent behaviour encourage facial recognition and that is a good thing. who wants violence on their doorstep. A lot of the thugs wore no masks. If there is a riot, it best to avoid being out in one and taking part, because it could give you a criminal record, which can affect background checks for landlords, jobs, relationships, as a prepper the worst thing you can do is take part in these riots, it will just backfire on you. sensible people will stay away. it is interesting that if one is in town one can board up a house. ....
Even before I learned of this Great Reset agenda, I questioned if there would be a pension available by the time I get there, now I'm pretty convinced that there won't. They are collapsing FIAT currencies on purpose, in favour for a CBDC system, how will that affect pensions do you think? Like with decimalisation, we are going to get screwed I feel, their new point system won't provide much basically.
I'm concerned about all of that. Only got a couple of years before I can get my pension. It worries me what 'they' will try to implement before the US elections in November.
@@beaulieuc8910 A moderate Muslim country and English is one of their spoken languages I would feel safer there than I currently do here, I had been looking at countries in South America in particular Ecuador, but the cartels messed that up it’s really getting quite depressing as the number of places to escape to is diminishing!
boarding up a house is an interesting point though it could be a fire risk if you are inside. in a riot, and when i was near one, they were torching properties, and so boarding up the post box in your house would be a good thing. also in these riots, men were bashing down front doors... I don't really think it is actually safe to be in your house in a riot. i think just get away from the riot and hide. even public transport can be stopped in a riot. the police wont turn up till it is too late. that is my experience.
I lost 15K on my stocks & shares isa & Sipp. I'm out of the markets now, sold the lot, will be going into a cash isa - I believe in structural change, that the markets may never recover.
