I remember when Eurovision was wholesome and kid friendly. Now it’s just a freak show.

There was a time when Eurovision was about music and lyrics and vocal arrangements. Now, it is a show for attention seeking clowns

Israel got the most of the peoples votes in Sweden.

Israel would have come 2nd on the public vote alone. The silent majority have spoken.

Israel came 5th from 'Jury' votes combined with public votes but they had the second highest number of public votes. And they had the highest number (from 15 countries) of the top point 12 for the public vote. Speaks volumes. The public chose Israel over all the countries that spoke out against them.

Eden cried from relief when it was all over. She has had contestants refuse to take hotel rooms on the same floor as her (wtf), she's been bullied and insulted by people like the rabid leprachaun from Ireland, she's faced hostile joirnalists and death threats and at no time did she exhibit anything other than strength of character, respect, intelligence and grace. How many countries in the world produce young people of that callibre?

I'm Jewish Israeli, i'll keep my opinion about the EuroVision for another time. Just wanted to point out that the goodness and light will always prevail against the hate and darkness. That is why the Jewish people survived since the biblical days. Unity, love, faith, and being a good person will always prevail, no matter how many haters are gathered against you, how loud they scream, or how strong they are. God bless you Australia.

That Israeli singer, about 20 YO, has been so courageous and resilient! She managed to do her thing brilliantly whilst constantly harassed, bullied, threatened and drowned in "the sound of hate"- even in the dressing rooms, by her fellow-singers, not to mention the shameful displays by them at every opportunity. Her only " crime" - being born in Israel. I think so many people were disgusted and outraged by that "sound of hate", and made their opinion known.

14 European countries gave 12 points from the public votes and the world vote gave 12 points too, so she won in my opinion IL❤ the judges were political garbage.

It was a very horrible Eurovision Song Festival this year. I didn’t watch the acts but watched the scoring. The U.K. public gave Israel there top points which I am so pleased about and our entry got no public votes at all. He was a disgrace. I saw him in news clips. Even my gay brother-in-law said he is disgusting. That just tells you.

A big reason why a lot of people voted for her is that she was constantly being bullied by other contestants and got booed relentlessly because she was born in a particular place. I think a lot of people just wanted the underdog to win.

The public vote for Israel was far more impressive and crushing than people realize,because 14 of the nations voted Israel first as well as the rest of the world vote,and most of those 14 nations were the larger more populated European nations ,and if we use the stats from the semifinal voting as a probable example of how most of the nations voted,where the italian televote for israel was almost 40 % of their total vote with the Netherlands 2nd at 7%...then we can safely assume that those countries that voted for Israel did not simply vote Israel first ,but overwhelmingly so, so overwhelming that in all probability the votes for Israel in pure numbers were probably 4 to 5 x more than that of Croatia ,let alone switzerland which won.i think people worldwide saw this as an opportunity to voice their opinion on what is happening in the Middle East,and their opinion on blatant anti-semitism that is so prevalent at this time.they voiced their opinion unequivocally and unanimously in solidarity with the people of israel and Jewish people worldwide.the people have spoken.
