A very short video showing the Bingo options that were available to us on our UK Seacation cruise on the Sky Princess from Southampton. I apologise for the quality of the audio again, we do this for a hobby and it was filmed on a phone, I hope it is still of some interest.
There were quite a few options from a single paper ticket that you had to follow and shout Bingo if you won through to a iPad style tablet that took care of playing the game for you. When we first turned up it was a little bewildering so I thought this video might help anyone interested in playing bingo onboard know the options in advance.
We did have fun and won $ 125 on the very last day. We personally found the six paper tickets & 1 scratch card option for $ 39 to be the best option, it seemed the most fun. We did try the iPad style tablet on the first day but found it a little boring and didn’t win with it, the winners seemed to be split 50/50 in the room between paper tickets and tablets. The scratch card also won us $ 10 on both occasions.
The only thing I was not aware of was the rolling jackpot, I think it could have been made clearer. On day 1 they said $1000 must be won but I don’t think it was made clear that this would only happen during the cruise and not on the day. There was a daily jackpot of $ 1000, but you only won it if you get a full house in 50 balls or less. If not won it rolled over onto the next day and was only won on the last day when the 50 ball limit was removed. We probably would have played daily anyway, but would definitely focus on buying more tickets to increase our odds of winning on the last day of the bingo.
