Thank You...I got to share one with a good friend, On a Star Fam cruise..my last Premium Cruise...Grey Goose on the house, LOL..Love the new ones thanks for closer look. I think they were a bit wider not longer on Star...but very lovely and I miss the comfy chair across from couch...little coffee table there...and the desk is bigger...in this one as well as couch so just trade offs...Princess Mini-suites on Star group had some balconies stair stepped on side a tiny bit so that looking down on you more than back....I just love the colors and Traditional up to date they do. Too bad on ports..they should do that on next go over..this was a too strong of a drink when planning kind of mistake..and not a money savor deal on a Mini-suite or any cabin to do.
Wow hahaha good for you at least we can dream of our cruise life through you while sitting here at home lol have a great time…….looks like a nice space you have there and a cool little balcony….I would be so happy to have that room any day……thanks for sharing your travels to places I will never get to go to……please show more of the scenic views outside if you could please would love that so much….
If I do have an connecting room - anywhere - I always check that door. Looks like there isn't enough room to comfortably face your deck chair forward - to be able to look out to sea. And that is a mini-suite - wow!
I assume the Sky is like the Majestic, NO o outlet for a CPAP machine. They brought us a long extension cord to plug in at the desk. It was a trip Hazzard. Had to unplug every morning. Designers screwed up bigtime!
Great video. Just wondering if there are USBs on the sides of the television. But, I agree that for a new ship, there should be more plugs and USB ports.
wow love this cabin, love the color scheme and everything about it :) except i also prefer a walk in shower, but otherwise its lovely :) and love your picture above the sofa :) the beautiful opera house :)
Hi Don.....reporting to you from the Regal Princess with regards to your recent "Something is "off " at Princess. The things you addressed in that video persist here particularly with regards to Room Service. Everything you experienced on your ship is also true here. Terrible, terrible quality of Room Service food to the point of inedibility. I waited 4 hours December 28 for an order placed at Midnight. I was just so hungry I couldn't get to sleep without eating something . I gave up and went down to the International Cafe ....who also had no food...(waiting on breakfast turn around) I thought Wow!! I'm starving on a Cruise Ship!!. When I got back to my cabin I received a call from Room Service ....did I still want my order?? Yes please ...it arrived about an hour later. One of the new twists on Room Service here is that it just doesn't come at all... no notification. I'm basically living on Pizza....no Dining Room or Specialty Dining Rooms are available...sold out for the balance of this cruise. Way too many people on the ship for the number of staff that are on board. Tempers are fraying across all categories....many vowing "Never Princess Again". As we will be on board for New Year's Eve Princess is now asking us to buy a "New Year's Eve Package" Young staff are reportedly being verbally abusive to the elderly passengers that can't get out of their way fast enough. Certainly the newest and youngest staff staff could use in intro to basic good manners.........

You must have been lucky to have your mini bar waiting for you. We waited 2 days for ours. Diet Dr. Pepper. A man after my heart. I brought diet Pepsi this time.
We cruised on the Sky Princess in October in Balcony Stateroom D730. Our balcony was twice the size of what this one appears to have. About the only difference in our stateroom was that we did not have a tub shower. Plenty of USB ports an outlet by the side of the bed would be nice. We could be disappointed when we get back to the small balcony.
We just recently got off the Majestic princess A214 mini suite. Lovely to have that extra room. Princess balconies are so small. Especially the balcony cabins. Booked for our first Aft deluxe balcony. Will be interesting in seeing that size. Hope you enjoy your cruise
One drawback with the cabin layout - there are apparently no electric outlets near the bed. Many people are now using CPAP machines, which makes a nearby electrical outlet on the same side of the cabin as the bed's headboard most desirable. With the electrical outlets on the desk area, it will necessitate stretching an extension cord across the cabin floor and rolling it up afterwards. This is worse than an irritant task; the outstretched cord is a hazard to anyone walking in the area.
We had a balcony on the Sky Princess when it was new in 2020... Our balcony cabin was fine but the balcony was small, too.. the mini suite looks like the same layout as we had on the Caribbean Princess, with updated decor.. and, yes, the lack of USBs on such a new ship is troubling..
Thank you Don always love the cabin tours. I most definitely agree with you about the shortage of USB and regular plugs, especially no plugs beside the bed, some people need things like a cpap machine and a plug next to the bed is a necessity, plus why no USB plug on the desk? Still, a beautiful room with great colour scheme. Happy sailing!!
I sailed on Majestic Princess in 2019 and was upgraded to a Deluxe Extended Balcony Mini Suite. I also sailed on Ruby Princess in a deluxe extended balcony cabin which was not a mini suite and I would choose it again for the balcony. Remember to ask for an "extended balcony".
I was on the Regal Princess that same day as you...we were berthed next to your ship, on the opposite side. We went to Western Caribbean...8 day cruise. I tried waving to you but you couldn't see me. LOL. Mini-suite is great value for the $$...and I agree the balcony was very small. 2 chairs, 1 table, and 2 things to rest your feet...no way that was going to work out.
Don, speaking of bathtubs....my husband has a medical condition that is improved when he soaks in the tub. It's the warm water on his stomach that helps, so even a shower with a bench could work. At any rate, it's not a typical disability so I'm not sure if I should look at the accessible rooms. Any suggestions as to rooms that have tubs that don't cost a fortune? Oh, he's also 6'4....so the typical shower would probably just make his condition worse lol. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated! Loving your show these days, thanks!

The balconies on the Royal Class ships are much smaller than the balconies on the older ships, and it seems to me that the cabins are narrower. I love the decor on the Royal Class, but the small balconies and lack of a promenade deck (the running / walking track doesn’t compare) is disappointing to me. Lois
Why not say the room number? What do you think the priblem could be there? We've booked a cruise in this ship and it's interesting to see reviews from cabins close to where ours will be
I am an avid cruiser like you I take about 3 cruises a year have been on many cruise lines .several years ago I took my kids on a 12 day cruise on a princess cruise line it was on the emerald it was the worst cruise I have ever taken the entertainment was limited nothing guered for kids it was all seniors who were rude the staff were very rude the only thing good was the food and some of the excursions. Sorry Don will never take another cruise on any of the princess cruises again . Mostly go with ncl on specialty cruises doing a broad way cruise to Bermuda. I have an advantage living in florida don't you find it expensive for airfare or do you get a discount being a travel agent. I would love to do a cruise to Japan do you offer package deals?
