these dogs are not thin, there built for speed, they are amazing athletes, that can reach the speed of 40 mph, plus they make wonderful pets when they retire from racing, I used to race greyhounds and breed them , they truly are wonderful dogs not just to race but make good companies and very loyal, considering there racing span is normally between 3 to 4 years . I had over 10 greyhounds and each dog that I owned lived between 11 and 12 years before they died of old age, and I still miss them all to this day , that was over 20 years ago , I had a lot of good times with these magnificent dogs they were also my best friends and very protective .
good tribute, i watched almost all her races, like black caviar, a once in a lifetime champion of the sport. it was pretty sad that she came 3rd in her last ever race, no disgrace though , her record is amazing.
She is ripped...not at all thin..she is a beauty. A truly thin greyhound has no muscle mass, and the ribs show like a fire grate, and the hip bones jut out...they look unhealthy. She is in prime condition. She might soften a bit in retirement though. Looks like a Coursing greyhound to me.
