Interesting to see Indonesia's RCTI at 1:27 (wonder why TVRI are not included) and Malaysia's RTM1 at 1:37 (of course RTM1, since RTM2 back then had a lot imported programs and their news programs in language other than Malay). Also seems SkyCable analogue channels back then even had Russian (Channel One are in this clip, back then known as ORT) and French channels (including RFO, based in French overseas territories, which also included in this clip) other than several channels that already familiar to my eyes (ABC Australia, Star World, India's Sony Entertainment Television, etc.) and some of channels were still included on their channel lineup. And yes, we can see early years of Asian versions of HBO, Cinemax, Cartoon Network (notice the logo are bottom left corner similiar to the US one, also applied to Australian version which shares some playout), and even NBC.
