Recently I rented/checked out a copy of Game Builder Garage from my local public library, mainly so I could check out some fanmade games based on some of my favourite game series! While I was unfortunately unable to find any games based on Shantae or Conker's Bad Fur Day, however I did manage to find a few decent Skylanders fan-games in, and they're quite impressive given that they were made in Game Builder Garage.
