The thing about kaos is that despite all of his efforts to do evil things, to win over his fellow villains, to manipulate people into doing what he wants, he is never respected or even viewed as a threat by others. He frees the doom raiders and they treat him like crap. He uses the darkness to take over Skylands and it manipulates him into being his minion. The only person to ever show him loyalty or respect is Glumshanks. And you hate to see it! You feel for him, and despite Kaos being your adversary and a threat to the cosmos, you still hate seeing him getting pushed around and treated as a joke. But there's always one scene where he finally gets his way and proves to everyone he's a force to be reckoned with. He waits for the skylanders to defeat the doom raiders and then there's nothing stopping him from harnessing the power of traptanium himself. He gets the best of the darkness and betrays him. And it's very satisfying. For some reason, the writers really make you root for the main villain of the games.
1:45 I love how Spyro straight up let Kaos get away, then he has the audacity to say, "Let's go meet up with Stealth Elf and see what Kaos is up to next."
And so kaos got married, moved to hell and got a job working for a guy with social issues who verbally berates him during work hours. He can also shoot guns now.
