Ex-mormon here, when he says "Mormons didn't let black people into there church until 1978," that's only half true. They could be baptized as members but they couldn't have any authority or positions of leadership. Specifically, black church members couldn't hold the priesthood, meaning they couldn't perform baptisms or any other rituals. BUT there's some other fucked up stuff I wish he would have gotten into. For example it used to be official Mormon doctrine (taught by Joseph Smith and Brigham Young) that the reason black people were black was because they were cursed due to being the descendants of Cain (who in the Bible killed his brother Abel). Also Mormons believe (it says in the Book of Mormon) that the Native American Indians are descendants of Israelites... they used to be "white, and exceedingly fair and delightsome," but because they became wicked, "the Lord God did cause a skin of blackness to come upon them." (from 2 Nephi 5:21). It might be tough to come up with good jokes about these things. But as a recovering ex-mormon I always feel compelled to share such things when I get a chance.
