Skyline Dr Canyon City Colorado 

OMFG! I don't live in Canon City. I live about 20 or so miles southeast of Canon City in a little town located in a county called Custer County which is one of the closest neighboring counties of Fremont county which is where Canon City is located. Anyways...... This video of Skyline Dr. Brings back a whole slew of memories!! Back in the good old days before everything got soooo fuckin insanely uptight..... There was hardly ever anybody on skyline or anywhere for that matter this was back in the good old 90s early 2000s but mainly in the 90s...... When I was in high school after I graduated high school we used to have parties up on skyline and sometimes keggers and if not on skyline then usually always somewhere close by. And I remember being all drunk and stoned and on whatever else that would catch us a buzz or get us high that we could get our grimy lil mitts on and after we were all good and sizzled we would all pile in whatever vehicle we were driving and just pound on that gas pedal hauling ass up and down skyline and depending on how messed up we were a lot of the times we would play chicken up and down skyline. And seeing that Skyline is one way only while your imagination can figure the rest out! Lol. There's an area at the base of skyline where you exit from not where you enter from call the Hogbacks that you can no longer get to cuz the city or whoever blocked it off! FUCKIN ASSHOLES! Anyhow we used to have bonfires back there we used to make bets with people on how far they could get their cars back there cuz those roads were for high off the ground 4x4 vehicles only! You would either hear stories or she personally the effects that those roads have on vehicles that are made for those types of roads. I've seen in many cases where people kids would end up either completely bottoming out a shitload of times and doing some serious damage to their cars/vehicles or completely tearing out the bottoms of their rides! 😄😆🤣 SHNITZ! Those were some good times! Some of the best times off my life and I miss it dearly! Anyway just thought I'd throw that out there. Chow
