Skynetic Havok 1M Racer - Motion RC Assembly 

I just received my Havok yesterday and got it assembled, and tuned. The only issue I had was the hole in the tail where the square elevator connector passes through was too small and would catch on the fuselage when it turned. I had to remove the elevator and make the pass-thru about 1/8th inch larger, now its fine. It flew perfect. I used a spektrum 631 so it had SAFE/AS3X but when I turned them off it was flying great, straight and level. I didnt have to adjust gains or anything for SAFE, even at maximum speeds. This thing is a terrifying rush to fly. Its profile is so small, it just disappears when its flying straight at or away from you. It glides for days, but still belly lands nicely at zero throttle. Smooth. Its just a beautiful design. Love the livery, such a subdued dignified paint scheme.

Wow so very fast

Wonderful bird, it indeed looks like a kind of race prepared P-51A, with the Allison engine scoop over the top of the nose. What amazes me is that it is not only really fast, but seems to perform properly when going slow, too. So, two planes in one: a need for speed adrenaline provider, but maybe also a good plane to fly relaxed, but in style. 😁

Propably a stupid question, how do you keep the prop from striking the ground on landing, since its not folding? Is there some electronic trickery that always makes it stop in a horizontal position?
