ESO I play on Xbox one I'm looking for the name of the mod that puts your one-handed sword onto your back I did mighty appreciative somebody to comment on this thing and let me know the name of it 🙏
Ok. I had no idea you could touch the stones and get a power after cleansing them. I've done that whole quest line well over a dozen time AND HAD NO IDEA 😂😂 Can't believe I missed that.
@@ESOdanny thanks for all the guides ESO. They're really helpful. Keep up the good work! Btw if you did make a guide on how to breathe, I would totally watch it.
People who roleplay with lore mods: im gonna avenge my dead father People who roleplaying with other mods: im a vampire werebear from the future here to fly across morrow wind
A sanguinare lycanthrope? Now that is a filling fillie of a wonder. Hircine and Molag really outdid themselves with this one... But will it beat my tweety bird this time? Only time will tell. :)
The all-maker stones do give you good powers, but you have to go back to the stone to get it again which is probably why you don't see them used often.
The bones of the earth power is a reference to the dwemer mystery. It's an early hint in the Dragonborn quest line that this expansion provides further clues to the dwemer disappearance. If your interested in that unofficial quest like me.
The Earth Bones are as related to the dwemer as they are men. They are the ancestors of both men and mer. The remnants/descendants of the aedra that were tricked into or agreed to give up their power to Shor/Lorkhan when he created the mortal realm. They are literally the laws of physical reality/the mortal realm. (it is really batshit insane)
@Lewis Taylor I guess I hopped out the rabbit hole a little early. Thought I made enough sense of it to put the quest to bed. I say somone needs to make a mod where the thalmor judicators capture Michael kirkbride put him in an interrogation chamber and extract the damn truth from him
@@eliasking3015 Even then people would scream bloody murder about his departure and how much of his stuff is not official. While God Howard is just sitting there stating that it all just works.
my friend: so what kind of build in skyrim do you have? me: suicidal bomber. my friend: i don think thats a actu........... me: (gets sun stone power and kills entire bandit camp) my friend: ...............
they should have made the flesh spells like in dragonage origins where, instead of having to pay mana in order to recast the spell over and over, activating lingering spells simply cuts your total mana by a certain amount for as long as the spell is active.
I would propose using the WABBAJACK to fix your problems, but the limitations will not allow it... Damn Bethesda. If only I was able to bring the Wabbajack into this world... Then they'll do everything. I. Say. ;)
And I know this was posted a year ago, but to a Daedric charm like me, time is like a bowl of spaghetti, it... Hm. Spaghetti sounds good right now. I better go get Haskill, tell it's SPAGHET NIGHT! Make my tummy sing happy! :) ...What was I talking about again? Not just then, but before that. Hm... It'll return to me, like that flower Swiper keeps swipin' before Dora catches him.
It's not difficult to hit armor cap in light armor, it's not *just* a raw number, you get hidden bonuses just from having armor slots. The cap is actually higher if you're not using a shield or not wearing a helmet. The 567 armor rating value, for example, is only if you have armor in every slot but not using a shield. If you have armor in every slot and you're using a shield: the armor cap is 542. If wearing no armor at all - the armor cap is 667. I don't know if that's able to be reached from just spells - aside from the aforementioned "Bones of Earth" or "Dragonhide" spells. With a shield, you must reach a displayed armor rating of 542 to reach the armor cap. -Heavy Armor: A full set of tempered Iron Armor with a matching shield yields a displayed armor rating of 547, enough to reach the armor cap. This means that any matching set of heavy armor equal or higher in quality to iron armor can be used to reach the armor cap. Since iron armor is the lowest quality heavy armor, this means that any tempered heavy armor set will reach the armor cap -Light armor: A full set of tempered Elven Armor with a matching shield yields a displayed armor rating of 550, enough to reach the armor cap. This means that any matching set of light armor equal or higher in quality to elven armor can be used to reach the armor cap. Also, you didn't specify *what* alteration perks were needed to upgrade the "Bones of the earth" power to 100% damage resistance. You said it could be done, but didn't tell us how it could be done - you're ordinarily more thorough in your videos.
BTW, if you want to level up speech and smithing skill, go to the whiterun chest. Get Eorlund to train you in smithing. Then, go to his chest, take all of his stuff (the gold you gave him isnt in the chest) sell the items to him and go back and forth until you get your gold back and upgrade your speech skill to level up. After leveling up, you can train some more and do it again! Thank me later!
My favorite is the Ritual Stone. When im close to the end of a dungeon or fort, I can be like the Night King in Game of Thrones and just make all my victims fight the boss for me
It's okay if you don't want to use them, but in summary: -Dragonhide -Fire Storm -Blizzard -Avoid Death -75% magic cost reduction -WEREBEAR All instant cast FOR FREE, and a pilgrimage through Solsteim isn't a big deal to get them back. You can also have them all at once.
I actually know about these BUT for a power that you have to reacquire after you use because they are single-use powers, it's a long way to go if you're centered in Skyrim. I think that's why most people don't actually use it unless they're on Solstheim. So we agree there. It's SUPER annoying. Nice find with the mod!
Me: oohh 5 secret powers? Proceeds to start a new game Me: i should increase my sneak and get a bow so it can help me Proceeds not to use powers because you've just made another assassin character
Huh....didn't know the Earth Stone stacked with alteration....so basically with this and necromage + atronach, a mage can become an invincible God, eh?
Waters of life power: heals 200 HP ESO: Now that's a lot of HP! "pretty much maxes out our health on most character builds" Me: XD you think that's a lot? *looks at health* *750/1030*
The reason nobody uses them is because you can only use the them once a day and you have to go back to the stone and touch it again to get the power back. That's way to much trouble to keep using them.
I use the powers of Earth Stone, Wind Stone, and Sun Stone, very cool! I wanted it to be like the other standing stones that powers back after one day .
Take fire enchanter, Take augmented flames x2 (destruction). Disenchant Battleaxe of fiery souls (Ironbind Barrow) + a fire based weapon. If you have level 100 enchanting, you can now have a TOTAL (2 enchantments) of 61 points fire damage + soul trap on any bow or sword!
For anyone looking for the mod, he talks about at the end, here is a link. Contrary to what he says it isn't 'technically' available for SSE but it's just an ESP plugin and can be manually downloaded and installed to SSE using the mod manager of your choice without any trouble. There is a variant of the mod on SSE but that mod's author saw fit to make all of the powers ridiculously OP so I won't be linking that. www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/34211?tab=description
Another thing i see people even today not using are the blood rings u get in the dawnguard dlc, the magica one was perfect for my mage build since it dont even require u to be high level to get it which i think is crazy and the fact i still see people uploading mage builds without it is ridicoulus
It would be neat if on top of having to go back to the all maker's stones every time you use the power, that you had a passive power along with the actual power. The actual power is for those panic moments which means you must return and get another blessing, however if you use the blessing for the passive traits, the passive power being weaker than the actual power itself. Say for the 'waters of life' blessing that heals everyone around you, passively your followers regenerate health 10% faster OR 'Sun Flare' that explodes fire around you, passively gives you fire damage to any and all of your weapons. This would be nice lore wise because the skaal pray to these stones and I can't imagine them getting into situations EVERY SINGLE DAY that has them using the full blessing, so a passive blessing on top would be neat. The blessing itself if not used can fall off after 7 in game days (168 hours, 10080 minutes, or 604800 seconds) so you have to return regardless and do as the Skaal and religiously touch the stone of preference to re-administer your blessing.
I've been under a game rock..lol I just started playing Skyrim and love it, but sometimes I get stuck or do not know the powers available to me... so like 90% of players I check youtube for help. After finding your channel ESO I no longer check out other channels and just look at what you have.... Thanks for the help.
I thankfully found the stones powers my first playthrough because I low key have adhd and went “why can I press a button on this stone?” And pushed it with no thought of possible repercussions
*Underrated/secret powers should be used has a "surprise card"* once you properly test it out. Why because its orthodox, unpredictable, unique also your thinking outside of the box lol
I only played the Dragon Born DLC once and just speed ran the main quest. I never got to clean out the island and haven’t payed attention to those stones powers after cleansing them. I burned myself out before I ever got to finish. God this takes me back.
Good vid, good to know about the mod... Just an idea but why don't you give a shout out to some smaller Skyrim channels, there are some really decent ones out there with only a few subs but deserve more, and they could do with a leg up .... I reckon it'd make for a good vid for you and keep the whole Skyrim ESO thing vibrant
Great idea, sadly most You Tubers don't do it for some weird reason, which is a shame imo, maybe they're scared these people will take their subs or something. Though I remember PewdiePie doing it not so long ago
Hey man, search up “The radiant dark” on RU-vid and the first video shows that there’s actually surprisingly an entire quest line behind them (using interesting npcs mod.) if you remember Drelas cottage? You can actually have a 25-30 minute deep conversation with him with that mod as well. Bethesda seemed to have patched all of that for some reason... really interesting quest which involves fighting dremora lords and such. But you gotta talk to drelas and have that deep convo to have a better insight... super interesting bro pls cover it
Another educational video I've used those trees before but like you said they're only once today I don't really mess with them I always play ignored I'd rather beat him to death then use Magic I've never played as a mage or as a vampire just the old base ignored as a Khajiit I have so much fun pounding them into submission LOL
Well who needs these powers when you have 5 talos amulets equipped and can spam shouts like fire breath or frost breath and just murder every single enemy that even attempts to touch you?
I said this on a top ten facts video on another channel but did you know that if you complete the dark brotherhood questline a guard in solitude or whiterun will say “ psst! I know who you are, hail sithis!”
As you were going through the list, I was thinking to myself, "Man, why wasn't I using these powers?" But then you reminded me with your "once per day" limitation. Which is pretty much why I don't use the racial abilities either.
For the past year I've had you in my suggested simply because I watched you a lot. That's insane to me if I'm being honest I thought I was subscribed but I've been watching for a while and it's purely out of seeing or looking you up out of enjoyment. Love your channel
God f@%#$¥g dammit! So many playthroughs and it never ocurred to me to touch the stones after shouting at them 😭.....*sigh* ok, gotta do another playthrough lol
Hahaha I feel vindicated right now because I literally just discovered these about a week ago.( Of course, that has caused me to have yet another character idea so earlier today, I made said character and now this video drops... )
I just shouted at them, killed the lurker and moved on 🤣🤣 luckily i have a lvl 50 khajit saved for a rainy day who has done no quest lines or gone to solstheim yet.
You DO NOT need Heavy Armor to reach the Armor Cap, with 100 Smithing and 100 Light Armor (both of which you will max anyway if using Armor of any kind) you can easily reach the Armor Cap
The reason is simple why no one is using these powers, they must not be useful to certain builds that anyone is playing within Skyrim. You should know that Danny considering you have done enough build guide videos over the years. Be well and keep safe, regards Gary.
Fear perk + 2 levels of Augmented flames + intense flames perk + Ahzidal's mask + Sun Stone = True damage Nuke. The intense flames perk makes all fire spells count as illusion spells and so are affected illusion perks (particularly regarding Fear), and now that I think about it, a Vampire with the Necromage perk would make the damage from the equation above even higher. Edit: The necromage perk also works for the North wind power, but not the illusion trickery, but the Dragon priest Mask Dukaan will add 25% damage to it.
Im ready for the new elder scrolls. Ive played through Skyrim so many times. Grabbed all of the unique gear, killed all the bosses, have all the shouts. Maxed out all perk trees, exploited all the exploits, did all the daedra missions, own all the houses, and don't die from fall damage
I was typing to tell everyone that when they used the powers they would have to go back to the stone to get it again but ESO said it while i was typingp
I killed the ebony warrior in around 30 seconds using the hermeus mora (or whatever it's called) tentacles he was stuck and couldn't heal. I just slashed him to sovengard
MASHED POTATOES! I don't think that I have touched any of the Standing Stones after dealing with that dagum lurker. Thanks to ESO I now have all of my Paragons tonight.
👍😀🐉🐉👍🐉🐉😀👍 Danny, you are the God of Skyrim. Bethesda needs to make A’Kar a follower, with great random comments like: “Get wrecked sir, God damn Lydia,” and “The kill cam!”
You don't need Heavy Armor to reach the armor cap. Light Armor can reach it as well, you just need to wait until your skill level is higher. Heavy does it faster though.
Also just a pointer guys if you play Skyrim together and you wanna be a healer especially to other players the waters of life power might be your best bet
