It may be a coincidence but in the quest With friends like these, the Dragonborn must kill a Fultheim the Fearless who is anything but. It’s possible that the Thalmor put out the hit but the Dark Brotherhood, without the guidance of the Night Mother and using hear-say for most contracts, may have picked up the wrong Fultheim. Why? Because who would suspect a crotchety old man to be a thorn in the Thalmor’s side as opposed to a moderately well known sell sword? But hey, that’s just a theory.... A game theory!

King Harald erased the records of Geirmund because if people knew about his heroism, they would know about the brothers and the Amulet of Gauldur. This would have created more chaos as ambitious people try to obtain the amulet but just end up releasing the brothers into Skyrim again.

Never tried it myself, but supposedly in a manner quite similar to disguising yourself as a Thalmor agent at the Embassy, if you're playing as a High Elf and wear the Thalmor uniform when entering Nightgate Inn then Fultheim will assume you're there for him and immediately attack you.

He was struck down and wounded and couldn't walk, his crying child came dashing at him crying, he knelt in shock, as the world eater came sawing down crashing just behind them. Wounded guard (father): "go please..." Child: "NO!" wounded guard (father): "please son GO! the child took one last look at him as he dashed off Wounded guard (father): "that's my boy..." Alduin opened his jaw wide as a flaming blaze finishes him off... That kid should of had a side quest.

I recently started Skyrim again with the SE, just so all the achievements are clear, and that's actually the first time I ran across that lighthouse. On a whim I decided to investigate... let's just say that I was looking for copper and struck gold. Very positively surprised. Also, shaken, that story is just tragic. PS. You can collect his remains and take them up to the lighthouse fire on the top and give him a proper brun-ial sendoff for a permanent buff to restoration.

If you take Habd's remains and throw them into the fire at the top of the lighthouse you'll get a permanent active effect called Sailor's Repose that makes all cast restoration spells more potent. Habd wanted his ashes to be put into the fire so he could always overlook the sea and you get the little bonus for granting his dying wish.

If I remeber correctly, after killing the boss chaurus you can take Habd's remains to the top of the light house, burn them in the fire giving him a proper(ish) funeral and receive a permanent blessing.

Forgot the most under appreciated person in Skyrim, the Dragonborn him or herself. Walk into any hold, town, etc and no praise. Just some pricky guard saying “let me guess, someone stole your sweet roll”🙄

I know this is an old video, and you probably already know this, but after finding Habds remains, if you follow his last request and throws them in the fire at the top of the lighthouse, you get a permanent blessing (I think it boosts restoration magic, but I'm not sure).

Delphine is the ultimate hero, she find the dragon's burial site and figure out the pattern of resurrection, thanks to her we meet alduin and discover the plan, so she deserves more credit.

Other thing, if you enter the night gate inn in thalmor robes Fultheim attacks you immediately. Little fact that supports his theories.

Aerin I think is a true hero, he does everything for mjoll follows her everywhere and she don't give him the credit he deserves. If you marry her he's lost is oppurtunity at getting her to love him and yet he still follows her even though he knows she doesn't feel the same way, plus he now has to put up with are shit if you chose to marry mjoll

The Empire didn't surrender, in fact they had simply destroyed forces when they retook Capital. They were then about to finished wiping them out, however, Emperor decided too much killing and suffering had weakened spirits of his forces (It is like what is going on in Korea's, shooting stopped in 1950's war is still official and has never ended). Thus, he made a deal to end conflicts, so he could rebuild military forces. By time of Skyrim, Empire had rebuilt forces and was strong again. The man who rebuilt these forces is in Skyrim attempting to end Civil War. He has a small legion and still he is holding out against Stormcloaks. Most of the main troops are guarding against another invasion or are they preparing for one? :D There is a hint for both, though if you dig some, you learn Emperor is not wanting to invade anyone, with his death though...hmmmmm. This is one reason, Dark Brotherhood were asked to kill him. The council believed they were strong enough to start the fight anew. Which brings us to Elder Scrolls VI. With Civil war settled and Empire with a new Emperor, war is coming.

Correct me if I'm wrong but does Fultheim not attack a player wearing a full set of Thalmor gear? Perhaps only if they are a high elf? I remember hearing that somewhere though I've never actually done it myself. If it is true that is a great bit of evidence as well as detail on Bethesda's part

There should be a choice to unite skyrim under the empire, and then convince the jarls to have the emperor launch an attack on the thalmor. I mean with the dragonborn on their side the empire will steam roll the thalmor in any battle that the dragonborn is in, hell just send him in and he'll still win

It's weird and I KNOW I'm gonna get a lot of controversy for saying this but Ulfric Stormcloak. Hear me out, his heroic deeds originally start off as giving up being a student of the Greybeards to stop the Thalmor. Pretty sure the Thalmor are the bad guys. There is also the time where he saved countless lives during the Markarth Incident by stopping the Forsworn. Not sure if they're better, worse or completely even. I mean what kind of people use magic wood as hearts? Fucked up kind. After that was the Moot, Torygg and blah, blah, blah. They rarely mention him doing these things, in fact HE has to be the one to mention them at times. Anything after is your opinion alone, I won't mention mine because people are just gonna be bitching about it.

Having a blades sword doesnt necessarily make you a blade. I always end up with multiples and I'm not in the blades lol. He could have just killed one or found their body.

I actually think Mjoll The Lioness is Skyrim's greatest hero. Her town was raided and burned to the ground. Her brother was murdered in front of her. She learned hunting skills from her father and fighting skills from her mother. She didn't become a bandit herself, never commit a crime, and has a clean record. Her life is defined by adventuring and protecting the weak and vulnerable. She is young, has a strong moral code, skilled, has not a single bad bone in her body. Greed doesn't infect her. Wealth means little. She cannot be blackmailed or bribed, is completely fearless, and is a physical powerhouse. She is practically the Captain America of Skyrim. She is the number one hero in Skyrim, in my opinion.

You left out Habd’s Remains have an AWESOME perk. Take them to the top of the lighthouse and burn them in it. You see his grateful ghost and he gifts you Sailor’s Repose a permanent power that grants 10% more healing to all your Restoration spells. You have to know and share that part! Hard's tale has to be one of the most tragic tale in moder day skyrim he tried to fought a cave full of falmer and chaurus like, can you imagine how terrifying it must be to fight those monsters espescially the chaurus ? He even closed the door leaving him with no escape in case things go wrong to make sure the falmers wouldnt be free. That takes some balls of steel to do that espescially since I'm pretty sure Hard was just a normal dude.

I specifically made fan art of Balimund because he died trying to defend Riften when a dragon landed on mistveil keep and started torching the place. He grabbed a sword and ran back to the mausoleum area where the fight had moved and I saw him get murdered to death by the dragon. When it was over the whole town came and lined up to see the carnage but it looked like they were paying respect to a fallen hero. I love these games so much.

it make sense that there would be high elves that disagree with thalmor, but I'm guessing there in the minority. you know if you think about it if you roleplay as a high elf you can technically give yourself the back story that you're the hero of every crisis major the Elder Scrolls timeline from Arena or Daggerfall. though I've only done the math for Daggerfall to skyrim ( during Daggerfall age 30, Morrowind age 52, Oblivion age 58, skyrim age 264) by my math a high elf protagonist would be in there late 200s early 300 by the time of skyrim.

Honestly, considering how much mages or "clevermen" influenced Skyrim's early culture as well as how big of a role they played in so many big moments, it's a shame that modern Skyrim holds such an overwhelming disdain to magic.

I just uninstalled this game and now your videos are making me install it for the 5th time (everytime I think I'm done with the game I see a Nate video and reinstall it again ) . Stuck in this endless cycle of life and death .
