A little tip if you take the do not delete chests to tonilia in the thieves guild you can sell the do not delete chest to her then buy it back to make it unstolen or yours anyway if you do this glitch you will have the do not delete chest marked as yours in your inventory so it will be like you didn't steal it so guards won't take it away if you get arrested or jailed

scp agent helio no. the do not delete chests are scripted placeholers left ingame by the developers to represelnt the total gold a merchant can have without trading. this explains why you can pickpoket a merchant's gold without their tradable gold decreasing. This also explains the name "Do Not Delete." if the chest is left in the wilderness of skyrim and you leave it out there too long, the chest will despawn. therefor, the merchant owning the chest will lose its gold because nothing tell it how much to spawn with.
Zandrix 360 What if they disappear, in the game you can't delete this chest, but if you put them in a barrel (Like the barrels up to the barracks of Whiterun), maybe they disappear after a little time. I'm pretty sure about this because I put 200 iron ingots and I was keeping them to reach 100 in forge, but they disappear after a little time.. Man this breaks the game

when you get these chests. How long do they stay in your inventory because if I dont use them but have them with me, they are missing or gone out of my Items lists. Whats going on with that? Also do these chests self replenish? Im having trouble going through the walls.

There's two things, one's an actual chest, which can be modified by things like you buying/selling items, and the other is the do not delete chest. (I think anyways)
im here because i was playing this game and i was buying iron to lvl up my blacksmith thing and the shop keeper has this i was like wtf? so i bought it lol i bought it for like 436 coin but the value was 200 lol but i didn know what it was i still dont know why they let you have this in the game
