As the Creation Club does not allow mod creators to use external assets I think what Elenora’s did here with what she had was impressive. If you are on Console this is as good as housing mods will get (and I hope to see more from her), if you are on PC however check out Elenora’s other house mods on the Nexus (Their even better imo). I’ve no idea what Elenora’s contract with Z is but from what I have heard from other creators they don’t get a share in the profits this mod makes, they are paid a lump sum. If this worked the other way around I think I could fully support the creation club as an idea that supports modders.. but until then I’m still sceptical. In regard to us as the consumer, I think housing mods like this work well. I think however we all really want to see quest mods and larger ‘mini DLC’ mods created at a similar price point. We may indeed see this in the future, see previous video: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-4qPzjsLzFBA.html&index=26&list=PLl_Xou7GtCi6XoXe1TAJZfHHpoAhhYIVY I think the issue of value for money will always remain the key issue when compared to previous DLC: - Heathfire DLC: $4.99 - Single House Mod: $3
incorrect. creation club can use outside assets. it's just that the creator has to make new assets and can't reuse ones they've already made. also this house is an esm file, not an esl. so it's a master file and not a light one.
I wish Bethesda would add more details to the descriptions in Creation Club. I have seen and heard more detailed descriptions from people online than Bethesda provides. I think if they did better with the descriptions they would not only do better by Creators such as yourself but have better sales. Is this something you or other Creators have brought to their attention?
Elianora, you are awesome. I hope you excell in whatever field you choose or chose. This house is awesome. Gardens, hives, stables, a massive trophy room, and so much more. This house feels better than any of the three from hearthfire. Even when fully furnished, they just feel like a giant home full of stuff... This house is so cozy, it is like someone is sitting next to a fireplace, while sitting in the worlds comfiest chair. This feels like a home. Well done Elianora
Elianora is the frikkin GOAT of house mods. Sure, there are mods with better looks and functionality, but like ESO said, they use external assets. She makes housing mods that are epic using nothing but vanilla assets, so personally, I think that's far more impressive.
Dominic Campbell, ops, yes it would too. I installed her Breezehome mod for SSE and if it is half as good as her video about it suggests then she will deserve the term "goddess" (I have not tried it yet).
I downloaded one of her mods, and literally the only problem I had with any of them was that some of the items were static, and you couldn't take them.
Dominic Campbell you can tell how restricted she was with this mod though. He's commenting on the detail and fair enough for a console player of say it's nit terrible value. But on pc I'd just download one of her other homes and donate a little to her patron. She probably gets more of the money that way anyway
yeah playing a game that's been dryed of all it's substance by reviewers and skyrim channel like this. I mean sure it's fine to see somethiing new in skyrim but there is nothing else but mod at this point. Atleast with Kingdom come he had diversity, but now it's just the same old boring video again, what a disgrace
R,R John everyone’s got an opinion, bro. Other channels are always out there if you don’t like a specific creator’s videos. They put a lot of time into their work and don’t deserve the negative comments. Idk I’m not trying to be rude or anything I just know that I’d hate seeing those types of comments when I’m just pursuing something I enjoy, so I can imagine it’d be the same for eso ( & everyone else too).
Hello John! I think that the Kingdom come videos were great actully. And also, I think Skyrim channels like this shows that it hasn't been "dryed out of it's substance". Cheers mate!
Can creation club do a 'Dad' mod? Like, where someone like Ron Swanson is your dad and he plays ball with you and gives you emotional support? It'd be nice to have an immersive dad, let alone a real one. *dont judge me*
I agree with also this is good for my unique weapons and armour that I ether earned or bought or found while questing. That I don't use and the weapons and armour I got at the start.
Hey eso my cat went missing. And I'm so sad but you're videos really cheer me up. Thank you and keep up the good work... also happy your on skyrim again
Put posters up and walk round everybody's house knocking on the doors. I found my kitten a month after she went missing living in an old shed. Keep your head up :)
I prefer this to hearth fire houses. With this, you don’t need to spend hours getting supplies and building structures. This looks like a beautiful creation.
Thank you for reviewing this. I was thinking about getting it but wasn’t sure. Because I like getting badges I can’t use regular mods. But Creation Club does allow us to use it and still be able to qualify for badges. Definitely a house I’m going to get.
For this being such a small house, it’s an absolutely beautiful house. I also love that farmhouse close to the cave where you get that Kematu jerk looking for Saadia (if memory serves me correctly). If the said farmhouse has enough farming plots with every place having something to grow, one can become rich from that place. And I always get that follower from the Bitter Cup quest as my farm steward.😁The last week or so I haven’t been able to play anything due to my controller being out of power and I have no charger.
It's Beautiful! It's all her work, clearly, I hardly BELIEVE that something of this Quality is in the Creation Club! I am so gonna get that house, and start working on smithing and enchantments, cause new character. Awesome work as always with Lydia and Good work, as always. Keep it up, ESO.
Absolutely beautiful and immersive! I instantly fell in love with her breezehome mod, and this one is about even with that, only because you have to buy it twice, loses a few points for that. Thanks for the MTV cribs walkthrough!
This is a great little house and I am SO glad that there is the cellar part for the collectables. I think that I will get this one, she did an amazing job for smaller home!
i also like Myrwatch near Morthal. Perfect for a person playing a magic based character, not to mention having its own staff crafting station is awesome too.
If your looking for new custom player home mods to review I highly recommend deadric castle by lazz for standard edition and Skyrim se on nexus mods it’s really cool with massive armory/storage room with displays for all collectibles like deadric artifacts bugs in jars black books and even displays for the elder scrolls themselves it’s amazing
I just started playing Skyrim for the first time ever. I wasn’t too sure of how mods, etc worked. I never checked out the Creation Club until after I purchased the Breezewood home and became a little more familiar of how things worked in the game. This house would have been awesome to have had that option to purchase this house over the Breezewood house. I knock things off the shelves in the Breezewood house lol. They need to make some changes in the game like being able to set things back on the tables and shelves when you knock them off. I am going to buy this house next. After all it’s only 2500 more then Breezewood but all the armor and weapons storage is well worth it. Much better being able to store weapons where you can see them instead of in a box where you have to scroll though every thing in storage ! Your videos have been helpful not to mention entertaining lol. Thanks 👍👍👍👍
Well, in ESO I've not been to Morrowind yet, and it's not a REAL TES game anyway. Wouldn't blame people for not having seen that. But TES 3: Morrowind is the greatest game ever made, and an Elder Scrolls based channel should definitely have played it.
Me, personally, I would get the house inside of Whiterun she made. This is because if Lydia gets annoying or you just want her out of the way you can lock her in her room and she can't get out. Amazing feature to have in a house.
I'm telling you ESO, if I knew how to create a mod for a wall around each of our houses, I would love to do it! A drawbridge/gate would be solid too! Just like the one around Whiterun.
i just started binge watching all your skyrim videos and love them they are all i watch all day and just after having major surgery they have helped me feel better alot and watching you on my birthday a few days ago was a good way to spend my birthday so thank you for all your videos
I through the house is very cool. Everything you need and no need to go to the city ( Segregating yourself from everyone). What solid me is the treasure room. To place all your best armor in one room, and your weapons. I’m geeking out.
7,500 gold is cheap compared to 25,000 base plus another 14,000 to furnish Proudspire Manor in Solitude and it doesn't even have a forge! Severin Manor, the player home in Raven Rock, has my favorite price tag... Free! Severin is the most convenient crafters home I've found in game with or without mods. You can go straight from the Alchemy lab to the forge to the Enchanting table. The cook pot is just upstairs with no loading screen to get there. I have home mods dotted all about Skyrim but I've never needed more than Severin Manor while residing in Solstheim.
I got the house its awesomely furnished. Not the biggest but all the space is well used.a basement trophy run. Also the smithing area chest is usable with out buying it.All 3crafting stations.
It would have been cool if skyrim had a use for the food because you can make potions that are better like they should have used a optional hunger and thirst system and if you get drunk your guy would feel it and you could fall and do stupid stuff and the screen would move around a put. Also they could have added when you load the game it ask you if you want to Role play and they should have had there own camping system into the game without mods I really hope elderscolls 6 has this. Also they should have made it where you can have your own kids not by adoption like by natural reproduction like they don't have to show anything like when you lay in bed with your wife if your a male or other way around then it should have like a 25-50% chance of being able to have a kid and the kid is born let's say the next month and it shows the character or the NPC depending on who is the female being pregnant and when it's time for the birth it has the player go to the player house or where ever there living and you can give birth or watch it but not really watch it because when you would walk into the house the screen would go black and then you would have a kid then they could have a baby model in a crib and then the next month the baby is a child and you would have the option to teach them to hunt and cook or Smith or farm or all the above and then there would he an option once the kid was a teen/adult then you could choose to have them as a companion or the NPC would have a chance of being able to choose to go on there own advancers and you would have a chance to find them or they could stay home and help the mother or father around the house depending on who you marry ams also depending on what you teach them like if you choose to teach them to farm or Smith then they could do that at your house or move our and do that somewhere else like if they where trained to Smith then they could be a Smith in a town or city that doesn't have one and also there should he a chance they can become a bandit depending on how you teach them or an assassin or thief but your own child wouldn't attack you unless you treated them like shit then they where a kid like if you beat them or didn't let them keep the fox they found out side and also you would be able to pick there name during the black screen when who ever is giving birth and it would have a 50-50 chance of the child being a male or Female and then if the mother was a nord and the father was an elf or what ever race it would have a 50-50 chance of being that race or if there both the same Race then it would be a 100% chance of being that race. But if you had same sex marriage then the adoption part would be how they got the kid and teaching them would still be available and if you are opposite sex marriage you would still be able to adopt if that's what you want to do. I will be very surprised if someone actually reads this I have a lot of other ideas they should have added or they should add for the next elder scrolls like a whole story line for the child after the dragon borns death then you would be able to play as his child or grand child. grand child would be better or maybe a further down the line like being the great grandson or daughter 1000 or so years down the line of the same family and the family is attacked and you are the only survivor from it you watch the bandits kill your mother father and brothers and sisters and you want to hunt them down and kill those bandits and theres a whole long quest about how you find the leader of the group that killed your father and also you have to go to different places like skyrim and depending on who you helpped the imperials or storm cloaks will be who rules skyrim but there will be another war between them and the thalmor. Also before the bandits attack your family your father teaches you how to hunt and shows you the family weapon which will depend on the special wepon you want it to be when you start the game like if you want it to be a one handed wepon then it will be or if you choose it to be a bow or mage staff ecs. Also your race would determine your parents race. Also later on there would be a quest that your father wants you to go hunting and when you coms back you notice the bandits and then you check on your family then you get caught and you watch them die infront of you before you get stabbed and then they leave you for dead but a healer walks by and finds you barly alive also the healer is the opposite sex of the player for an option to marry him or her but he or she takes you to the nearest temple and heals you and when you are all heathy you go back to your family house to find it burned almost down and when you go look for the family wepon you find out it was taken by that bandit leader who killed your family and when you fight that leader get your family weapon back and get revenge. And you are able to participate in the next great war and help the thalmor or empire or stormclocks take over all the main places like Morrowind and oblivion Ecs. Who ever you choose will win or if you don't choose there will be a constant war and also if you never played skyrim in the being of the next one there would be an option to choose who you want to take over stormclocks or the empire and give you pros and cons of each.
You just described more of what Sims should be going towards. Adding that much detail to the home aspect of the characters would take away from the point of TES.
There are better house mods for free and most of that stuff you can build yourself with the hearthfire dlc anyway. This does not look like it's worth three dollars....Go get the clockwork castle mod, that's probably the coolest house mod and one of the coolest story mods I've ever seen and it's free.
Yet most of the ingame/free house mods more than likely dont have the storage room this one does. Even if they do, i like how easy this house is to access. Im not a fan of overly big houses so.
yes they do. Literally most of them. The clockwork castle has more storage and the system works better because it can auto sort items from your inventory into specific containers with the push of a button.
The Hearthfire homestead Lakeview Manor has the option to construct an Apiary. However, I built it on 2 different plays through and the apiary never respawned a single bee or drop of honeycomb. The garden always works just fine though.
I love this house mod. So well done. The only things I could critique... To close to a spawn spot, no wood block, and needs more displays in the basement.
Maximus Gaming Todd Howard doesn't have any say in the Creation Club. Infact, most at Bethesda hate it from what I understand. It's Zenimax that's enforcing it
I might, but probably not, and at any rate I'm going to keep harping about the game-breaking bugs until they get fixed or until todd howard dies of stress and anxiety, whichever comes first. Actually, I think I might delegate the job of harping about it to some actual harpies, or maybe some furies, or both. I'm a very busy man of wealth and taste.
OK. Well I'm sold. Honestly, I've been quite skeptical about any kinda Creation Club content cause my brother seemed to have his game file messed up after doing something with them but after your review and after seeing the house and all its' furnishings, I think I'm willing to take a chance on this. So in other words, Thank You.
Very interesting. I'm new to the game (have only been playing for a few weeks) and am really enjoying it. One thing that I love about having a home in Whiterun (or any other location) is instant access to multiple vendors, which this obviously doesn't have. However, the trophy room in the basement looks awesome. I'd consider buying this just for that, if I was using mods. The only mod that I am using at this point is SkyUI and some blood and guts one. As always, I appreciate the content and look forward to more of your vids. I will have to sift through some of the other housing mods out there as I'm not using anything. Good job to the creator of this setup.
Nice mod. However, it doesn't really solve the problem of nothing left to do in Skyrim. What the Creation Club really needs is stuff that either changes gameplay in a significant way, or actually quests. I just don't think the Creation Club system encourages the creation of extensive quest mods as they take a lot of time and testing.
I’m on console and I’m kind of an achievement hunter. This lets me play long term while completing achievements and I can store my items safely and in a cool room without having to use any mods
I wish every home in Skyrim was this fleshed out imagine walking into every house, building and shack and it looking like someone actually lives / lived there let’s hope the eventual release of ES 6 comes with this much detail ( I know the limitations that Bethesda faced meant they couldn’t at the time of release for skyrim ) but I know that Bethesda love to pack their games with detail, secrets and Easter eggs having each and every place feel like this home would be amazing! And would leave so much potential for Easter eggs and secrets.
BLUE RYDER like I said I don’t agree with it but one of the most popular games in the world has people buy skins and it does not get a second glance I hate fortnite for this very reason and think others should know my stance
A funny thing about the mannequins in the raven rock home. My mannequins broke and now every time I go into my home they spawn closer to the door. It's creepy, they're like weeping angels fixated on a door.
Beware the Dragon Priest display: the one on the top left corner eats the mask it was meant to hold. I placed the corresponding mask on it, and it simply dropped off the face and disappeared without any option to remove or recover it (this happened multiple times after multiple reloads). Also, at lest one of the Solstheim priest masks attaches to its display in a weird way; the top of the mask projects out from the front of the face (though I was still able to retrieve it).
I like this house, I personally bought it. But I have to say that the place with the most storage and biggest trophy room has to be the home in Rifften Ratway. But as far as the place that I am whole heartedly in love with, is Myrwatch. I am currently searching for everything that goes into that house.
what skyrim really needs and I would actually buy from the cc is a jack and the beanstalk type deal. imagine being everywhere in skyrim and all of a sudden a castle looms over in the distance, high atop a cloud surrounded by mountains. inside rests the king of the castle a giant dragur.. or 3. or nothing it could be like the blades hideout I just want a floating castle to explore, with old stuff lol
Nice. Just spent the last 6-8 hours building and furnishing my Hearthfire home, but it doesn't come with any of these unique Paragon, Claw, or insect jar displays! Sure, Lakeview Manor is much larger, but this player home creation has a way better armory/collectible room. And let's be honest guys, the only thing any of us use our Skyrim homes for is storing all our cool stuff that we find during our travels. Not to mention, it's prebuilt and even has a baking sheet. I can even bake my own sweetrolls?! Now I don't have to worry about anyone stealing them! Should have just bought this.
The place with the hay bales is a stable for your horse, the “bee hives” as you called them are available at every buildable home from hearthfire, not just this home, I believe this one is missing some stations as well, it claims it has spouse and children support but I bet they will never occupy the home since no modder has figured out how to add homes to the list of homes available when marrying, they could use the family relocate spell mod but I don’t believe that exists yet in the creation club....
I just started playing Skyrim, but have used Elianora's mods for Fallout 4 and loved them...love this homestead and will be downloading it tonight. Thanks for this video! P.S. Elianora needs to make a mod so Lydia can slap you, LOL!
ESO you can store items anywhere outside of a “container” if you just drop said item. Just drop whatever you want to “store” on the ground or any surface really. No one will bother it, but it could get knocked or bumped over several meters, and also if you drop a weapon near a guard, he/she will scold you, saying how you shouldn’t leave weapons lying around and how someone could get hurt. He/she also might fine you.
