O_O Am I the only one who knows that you do not need to go the extra mile by jumping over the wall or using items to get out of Whiterun walls when you can easily walk to the side of "House Gray-Mane" and just fall through the floor? I have Skyrim for both Switch and 360 and the floor has not been patched up for either. I do it all the time without doing extra stuff with items. It literally doesn't require anything but walk to a wall and fall to hell. 😂

The easiest way I found doing this is by using the whirlwind shout, to get on Jovaskkr (I know I'm no where near close to spelling that right) and then climb on the side, closest to the wall, on top of that roof decoration thing (If that helps at all) use the shout again to get on the roof of that watchtower/outpost thing (you'll know when you see it) and just walk to the other side of the wall and you're done! It might take some practice but it's worth mastering because on how quick it is.

Tip: you can stay underground and ask what is for sale when he goes to his grindstone

A more efficient way of farming this is collecting the loot from the chest then waiting until Eorlund Gray-Mane is on the grind stone. Get under him and and start the dialogue to sell the loot until he has no gold. Wait 2 days while you are still under Eorland, then go back to chest and rinse and repeat. I would just sell the weapons and armor and keep the misc. items for forging/crafting. tip - If Eorland isn’t on the grindstone, just wait an hour and he will make his way to it.

Right I’ll tell you all what to do to get lots of gold fast Step 1) go into dragon reach or Jorrvaskr and find a kettle steal it and make sure you don’t get caught then exit Jorrvaskr or Dragon Reach Step 2) go below the Skyforge and there should be a rock outline of a door and when you find it drop the kettle in front of it and pick it up hold it in-front of the rock door then run into the door and you should glitch through. Step 3) steal the stuff from the chest or whatever you want and when you have finished taking stuff from the chest get out of the chest area and walk up to Eorlund Gray-Mane. Step 4) once you are at Eorlund Gray-Mane save or quick save your game then hit him or kill him then as soon as he is aggravated or he has lost health, load back to that save before you hit him then his inventory is restocked you can do the process again. (Edit: if you are on ps3 or Xbox 360 it will be a lot slower for you but it still works)

Faster way get under the sky forge and then take everything and then go under the grind stone and wait for him to sit on it then jump up and talk to him and sell everything then save still under the sky forge then after saving get out of the rock and then kill him then load the save then the chest should be re filled and just keep doing that and u will get so much money

I don’t even know if anyone plays this game anymore but a faster way to reset a shops inventory is to quicksave/kill shopkeeper/load quicksave/ check store and it will be restocked.

You can make this faster by just staying near the chest taking the gold and waiting 48 hours then rinse and repeat. (If the gold isnt in the chest after 48 hours just talk to Eorlund Grey-Mane when hes sitting on the grind stone and youll be able to stay under the ground untill you have the desired amount)

Just reset the merchant by quick saving and hitting him then reload

There’s a wayyyyyy better way to do this than having to start all the way over. When he’s using the grindstone just jump up and sell everything while still underground. Wait 48 hours and his stock refreshes then just wash rinse repeat. This is a horrible method for those who can’t do the barrel jump easily

Could always just do rhe same thing with the invisible chest in dawnstar. No jumping or glitching needed. Just sneak at it near the entrance to the mine. Its tied to the caravans inventory just like that one is tied to graymanes.

I literally sold everything and he still had 500 gold left. I had different items in the chest which were worth less and you had a lot more objects to.

Open command prompt enter “ player.additem 0000000f xxx” x being the amount of gold you want

The best way to make money is that once you get to the chest, go to the Smith when he at the grinder, go to his sale, leave, go to chest, take gold coins and other equal you want, wait 48 in game hours, repeat process, this is a much more faster way of achieving money.

You can get the gold back faster if you quick save, punch him, then lode the save

Apply this concept to smithing, and be able to get Daedric Armor at level 25.

Good vid. But you don't have to sell items to him. Just take his gold from the chest, then wait 2 days. Jump under him when he's at the grindstone and ask what he has for sale. After asking close his text menu and go back to his chest. His gold will be refilled

If you are doing stuff like this you could also just open the console and enter any amount you want!

Instead of doing all this, if you got good smithing skills, make ebony weapons, upgrade them and keep on selling nonstop, buy ingots, sell weapons

I always implied the barrel trick to get outside of the map surrounding Whiterun, then walked around to where Eorlund’s forge is and walked down the little area that leads under the concrete then to the invisible chest. Love that they added that in when I had Skyrim for PS3 and was somehow even happier when they kept the trick on PS4.

Alternatively, you can duplicate the Imperial pendants from Solstheim, and sell all but one of them to that vendor in Solstheim that will pay you something like a grand for one. Since they only weigh 1/10th of a pound, you can carry a lot of them before becoming overencumbered, which can be easily negated with a horse or by transforming into either a Werewolf or a Vampire Lord and using power attacks to make the last stretch of the trip.

Make sure you don't take your follower too and you can use the ramp to get out better

Just use a wooden plate to glicth through the wall next to the underforge and his chest is right there.

After you get the items from the chest you can walk up to the steps that lead to the skyforge and jump up some rocks and get out halfway up the stairs.

I am new to this game. Just started. Great glitch. I'm on my way to buying a house in Whiterun now. I'm a retro gamer. I mess with ROMs and emulators and stuff on Windows and Android. I set up makeshift arcades. I miss the old arcade days. I had a Wii and a Wii U for a while. Never owned a console past PS2. I bought this game for six bucks to kill time on my brother's old 360. He's always talking away on Xbox Live or whatever. Waste of time, but fun

What is the point of being rich when there's nothing to spend your money on eventually? Once I get to level 80, I don't even need money.

Also you can instead of waiting five days you quicksave and then punch the vendor and load that quicksave and his gold will reset instantly

You know, it's easier if you just loot the gold in the chest, stay under the rock, quick save then *Rus Fo Dah* up him while he using the grinding stone, then load the quick save, jump up to talk to him, ask do you have anything for sale, back out, get to chest, it should fill up the gold you just stole, repeat. 99% Working

that’s such a slow method though...if he’s at the grind stone you can jump up and sell everything while still being underground. in order to restock his chest, quick save > fire rune > load quick save (fire rune because you need to do damage to him, and fire rune will reach him at the grindstone)

Instead of jumping through the ground you can just walk through the stairway in front of the Companions and you're out of the glitch no need to jump through the ground lol

There is a quicker way of doing this Go to Dawnstar near the mine you walk left from the door there is a Bush between the Bush and the mine entry sneak and there is a chest there :D

Or. Use a wooden plate. Go to the side of the campions hall. Wall clip it. Find the chest under the map. Spend 3 minutes going to the smith. Sell it. Auto save. Strike. Load the save. Repeat

you dont need to sell anything to him just steal the gold from the chest and refresh it?

You can stay down there and go directly under the grindstone and sell it to him from there and then restock. And do the whole thing over again without breaking through the map constantly.

Follow dragon born questline find a pendant called east Empire pendant ignore its value as there is a trade that will pay you 500 gold each. You then need to learn the duplicating glitch. This trader does not have a set amount of gold. And I have personally done this plenty of times before and got over 65,000 gold each time. Make sure you duplicate enough so you dont have to keep going back and forth

There's a way to have ur shop keeper refill their items and gold w/o waiting: quicksave (or save, depending on if autosave ruins ya), hit that shopkeeper, then load back into that quicksave or save

Just get something expensive, doesn't matter what, as long as it has high value. Dupe the scrap out of it, and sell tlit to a vendor, reset the vendor, rinse and repeat.

This way sucks...look up smithing to 100 guides (Craft ebony daggers (or what ever dagger you can) and upgrade it as high as you can then sell it to the same guy) if you r looking to make money... Do the glitch and go and get your daggers back from the chest

There’s a way SO MUCH EASIER just get a platter from dragonsreach go over to the 1st window of jorrvasker (like your coming down the stairs from the skyforge in front of jorvasker) drop it use the “pick up” where your character holds it but doesn’t put it in inventory look at the window and run towards it you should be able to glitch through and go left and the chest it right there. I usually just leave the platter there for whenever I need to use it

You can literally take the guys money from the chest
