This is a simple statement that is easier said than done. We often seek advice from others and seek their approval in our decision making process... often times before we ever go to God in prayer or attempt to use his Knowledge and understanding when we are at a fork in the road.
In this short yet effective verse Peter and the rest of the apostles say very plainly that we must listen to God above all men! A fair question to ask is how do w listen to God? this is much simpler than people think, mainly because it is so obvious yet extremely difficult sometimes!
Go to the Lord in Prayer and supplication. Read his Word as often as you can that it may influence your decision making!
I pray that each of you would look to God when exercising your decision making instead of man. I would implore you to read the Word of God as often as you can! Lean on him and his understanding NOT MANS understanding!
