If I do 5 amulets it removes 5 necklaces and if I put them back on using this glitch the enchantment doesn't count for some reason. Not so bad though, out of 8 possible necklace varieties I can still use 3.

For anyone using this on PC: It still works in Feb 2022. You just have to press shift when in your companions inventory to bring up the equip option.

I bought an amulet of talos from Belethor earlier, so I dont think the merchants worry about lore. Coin is coin. I appreciate the video, because the online comments didn't show important parts, like pressing talk and transform at the same time, or waiting for the transformation to be complete before trading.

On my ps4 I have to press talk (x) then immediately after transform (r1) have to be so quick. Also noticed some necklaces don't stack the enchants! I used a smithing one and it actually made my smithing worse lol. Was interesting. Guess it's good enough just for the shout call down. I just wanted to try other options. Nothing found yet!

@@mitchperrin2543 the empire didn't support the worship of talos .whiterun is natural until you attack it. The Storm cloaks worship talos. Thay might of not supported it but there is still a giant Statue/shrine in front of dragons reach. I literally just wrote an English paper about the war.

You could also dupe the talos amulett if you don't have enough. Take a follower and go infront of a door that you will get a loading screen if you go through. Drop the stuff you want to clone there (can only be single ones not stacked) tell the follower to wait and then tell him to do something for you and tell him to pick those items up. Go out of the door or gate and go back in after it auto saved. The follower will have the items and they are still on the ground.

@Matthew Valdovinos I want to try it with grand soul gems but I remember a post on reddit and an old video where eventually too much stuff will spawn and crash the game. I think it was the guy that put all those cheese wheels in his house. I would eventually forget to go pick up all the stuff to prevent it from spawning over and over I think.

Just a heads up, from my experience at least, and what someone else here said, turning back into a werewolf or vampire lord and then reverting back to human, it will take off the effects of anything you are wearing multiple of. Meaning you have to do the glitch everytime u transform

Cheers dude! Btw - you won’t be able to give any talos amulets to your companion if you took the talos amulet off the decapitated body in solitude. Find a woman called Greta, speak to her kid, and she’ll take it off you. Then you’ll be able to give them to your companion. This is a confirmed working glitch on PS4 on the 14th June 2020. They never fix these things. Game is ancient.

Abdul Wadood honestly don’t know! I never tried again as I’d started a new build. But I do know after doing the initial glitch, then changed into werewolf - after changing back - my shouts were gone. I’d suggest looking up other vids to see if there’s a way round it.

5:46 he starts here and explained you have to press talk button and transform button at the exact same time for it to work, wait to be done transforming before you trade, and it won't work if the unofficial patch is installed (So uninstall the patch, do the glitch, save and install it again)

This helped a ton. Also, I’m on Xbox,l and on the controller it doesn’t register both inputs at the same time. So my work around is to press wait right after you hit transform, then after the wait one hour screen is done, you will still be starting to transform and there will be a small window of time where you can press A to talk right as you’re transforming.

I made it work with histskin maybe adrenaline rush etc will work too? May even shouts? Btw if using console switch talk button to the shoulder r1 for ps and Rb for Xbox. PC uses keyboard so I'm sure there is many close buttons to make it work.

I became a werewolf to figure it out and it works with histskin so I'm guessing adrenaline rush and any other once a day "power" will work. Btw if using a console not PC, set the talk button to a shoulder button next to the powers button. R1 r2 for PlayStation Rt Rb for Xbox makes the simultaneous action way easier.

@@WhiteStrike01 it works well for preexisting enchanted items such as amulet of talos, necklace of peerless sure grip etc., but with self enchanted items, it seems to only work with one of each type such as gold necklace, gold diamond necklace, silver necklace, silver emerald necklace, gold sapphire ring etc.

There's an easier way where you just make a really powerful fortify restoration using the loop glitch, unequip the amulet of talos, drink the potion then re-equip the amulet = infinite shouts as long as you don't take off the amulet

@@kidlaroii It's easier because you don't have to do the companion questline to become a werewolf, and you can do it right away after escaping helgen with some help of selling merchant's own item for golds. At first try it might take ~1-2 hours. Not to mention you'll be able to save some potions to get infinite shout again in case you accidently dismount the amulet, rather than need to search for a companion if you happens to not taking any

Another way is to build up your alchemy to 3 and get to benefactor and make a fortify restoration remove amulet of Talos drink potion make another fortify restoration potion take off amulet and repeat. I had it where my shouts were at -2500 recovery time so I could just keep shouting

Way too complicated. I accidentally discovered that using the fortify restoration loop, creating an OP Fortify Resto pot, then equipping the Talos Amulet, gets you to a negative cooldown. So no cooldown. No quest needed, just need to get to where you can craft ridiculous potions.

I don't think this works anymore. I did a playthrough for many hours setting this up and when I equipped the amulets in the way specified, I got only the benefit of wearing one amulet. I got six amulets which gave me the dialog asking how many I wanted when I tried to equip them. I chose 5 and it seems to have worked yet I only get a 20% reduction in shout time. This enraged me considering how many hours I had sunk into setting this up.

you're not allowed to stack them you need to transfer them one by one. so if you have more than 5 just select 1 every time

oh and important side note. even as a vampire lord where you technically don't entirely unequip everything but only for the duration of vampire lord mode after entering and leaving vampire lord mode the game will equip only one of each of the stacked items you originally had multiple of equipped. so if you for example had 2 ebony helmets and 2 dragonbone helmets equipped you will still have both equipped but only one of each

@@professionalretard2547 yeah I had the same thing, it only gave me 20% but I wanted to see if a werewolf would work, it didn't. It gave me the same thing when wearing 5 only 20% and the fortify restoration glitch didn't work either. And no I don't have any unofficial patches because it gets rid of a lot of fun and good exploits, I just have visual mods.

guess i'd do this with 4 or 3 amulets, wouldn't be too fun to abuse such a powerful tool to the point where there is no cooldown, shortening the cooldown would be more like it... Well, at least this way i could use the storm shout more than once in a week lmaooo thanks for the guide, now i can use the fire breathe shout more effectively, i'm into pyromancy, I AM THE DRAGONBORN dammit, so if while wearing a full set of dragonbone armor, i'd be able to breathe fire more often while i dual charge fire bolts to kill vampires, that would be... dangerously S A T I S F Y I N G . aight gn i spoke too much once again

This does not appear to work on the remastered edition. I got both the beast form and dialog menu. But after giving the amulets to my follower the only option was to take them back. There was no equip option.

There is a method of duping items example for the amulet. But you need gold go to a shopkeeper who has gold, buy one, save then attack them then load the saved game to reset their inventory.

I did this on my last playthrough last week, but this week it’s not working, the only thing I can think of that’s different is that I used duped 4 of the amulets instead of going through the agony of trying to find them and reloading a merchant over and over. Edit: after buying the amulets this time, im still not able to do it. Im doing the same way I did it last time, I don’t understand why it’s not working

I know this is late, but if you do the fortify restoration glitch, make a high-percentage Fortify Restoration potion. Remove your Amulet of Talos, drink the potion, and re-apply the Amulet. The cool-down times on all shouts are basically cancelled.

Does it still work? Not for me... The problem is when I'm werewolf and I give the 5 amulets to Faendal, I can't "equip" them directly in the inventory, I must "take" them all so I think it doesn't work... Why I can't equip them directly from faendal's inventory?...

I have the 5 amulets but I cant give my follower the amulet cuz it says I cant drop quest items....help

Today is June 14 2022 and I confirm that this still works, I got scared cuz it didn’t work on the first try for some reason but just try again, it worked for me the second time Another Interesting thing is I only equipped 4 amulets and all the shouts still have 0 cool down 🤔

Ahhh okay it’s been a while, I forgot to give Lydia my amulets. Good vid helped me not go insane with the impossible thought, “did Bathesda patch a glitch?!”

either the story line or some side mission that uses the amulet. check your quest log and it should tell you 😊

Hey if you’re still having the same problem it’s maybe because you got the amulet from roggvir after his execution so to be able to use it you have to talk a little girl in solitude named Svari and get a little quest from her and after you do it you’ll be able to use the amulet. I found her inside Addvar’s house and if she’s not there then she’ll probably be outside playing with other kids

Hi in wich platform are you playing on Because iv been trying for hours and watched multiple videos but still i couldn't do it After i give my companion the amulets When i go to his/her inventory the equip option is not there it only showing the take option Any ideas ?

i’m on ps4, btw- ik it’s a lot different/difficult to do cheats and whatnot without a pc.

Taniesha Hagel first try breathing slower to reduce the headache. second old gen consoles have a harder time getting this glitch and the duplication glitch to work. it’s just repetition at this point for you. you can try saving the game, fast traveling outside wherever you are then teleport back and try again. but the method i laid out should work as long as the game can cause the glitch to occur. good luck hop that helps

For what it's worth 2 years later: I just did this on the PS4 version. The timing appears to be a little different. You have to press R1 just slightly after you press X or you wont get the talk menu. Took a quite a few tries but I eventually got it.

I've tried this a couple of dozen times now and I can't transform and get the dialogue to come up at the same time. I'm on the 360 and you have to press both bumper buttons to become werewolf plus I'm preesing A to open up the dialogue. It might be because I'm using Njada Stonearm as a follower. She keeps saying "Whaddaya need?" instead. I have only managed to get her to wait in differents spots while in werewolf form, so the glitch possibly only works with certain followers. I'll try it with Aela and Rayya next see if I have more luck.

Hey SYKE i have skyrim remastered 2020 edition and. Brooooo it still works XD the developers haven't realized Thx. Bro i tried on my 1st account as the wolf it works and i tried on my 2nd account as a vampire and it worked as well
