A how to guide on the set up of an Overpowered Illusion mage early on legendary difficulty. Played on the most recent version of Skyrim the special edition, no mods were installed during the playthrough.
This build is an Illusion based mage character with a focus on using Illusion spells such as frenzy, pacify and call to arms. Frenzy to make enemies fight each other, pacify to clam the survivors and call to arms to buff your followers.
Continuing on later into the game I recommend a secondary damage skill such as archery, conjuration or destruction as a way to add some damage to the build.
The dawnstar chest will not work if playing on the unofficial skyrim patch.
